Look, this game is just freaking awesome!
If you have played "Donkey Kong" for the Gameboy, then you just about have this game down to a tee.
Mario vs Donkey Kong is an Action-Platformer-Puzzler game in which you will flip switches, jump over and grab foes and throw them in order to pick up the key or mini mario and move on to the next stage.
I bought this game when it first came out for the GBA and let me tell you; I freaken beet the first half of the game! I stopped at the plus worlds as the gameplay mechanic changes entirely!
So, if you add the Regular Worlds and the Plus Worlds with a slight change in game mechanic, it is like two games in one! I don't know if I am getting this mixed up with Mario vs DK2 for the DS but I think there where EXTRA Levels if you get STARS by beating the top scores in each level. The EXTRA Levels are FAR MORE CHALLENGING than the PLUS WORLDS! I give this game a 5 out of 5, great ol Nintendo Tunes and sound. Great grapics for the system, and entertaining slideshow for the story-line, and the replay value!
