As far as the fighting genre is concerned Clay Fighter the series is a dark secret that's best left unmentioned. While novel at first back when it appeared on the Super Nintendo any charm the games had have long since past. The controls are clunky, the fighters all ugly due to their claymation approach, and the premise itself poorly executed. While the N64 isn't known for it's stellar line up of fighting games there are still far better ones for the system than this.
