Played it on Project64---Ran great with the exception of a few sound issues but nothing major---Fun game.
Looks like it has bad graphics

The controls were awquard to handle. As bad as Hexen., but a good running version on Project64
Good graphics doth not a good game make. There's a reason Doom is a classic, and it's definitely not graphic quality.

Doom64 is one of a kind. The PSX version was a port; this is a unique game made specifically for the N64.
