  • In my opinion, this game was excellent. Instead of the Ocarina being link's main tool, now he is able to transform himself into other species like Gorgons (YAY!!) using masks.

  • I loved this game. If you like the series, you should play this game, and vice versa. This game took hours to complete, and It includes a feature not found in previous installments of zelda; YOu can fight ANY boss you want to AS MUCH AS YOU WANT!!!!!. I personally liked the Goht boss, and I was happy that you could fight it again without recompleting the dungeon. THe warping system was easier to handle than ocarina of time, but in some ways, this game was more imaginative. For example, you play the ocarina in a human form. However, different forms get different instruments, such as the zora link jammin on a guitar. THis game possibly has the most sidequests in any zelda game (excluding maybe the Minish cap). I would highly recomend this game when you want a trip from the ordinary.

  • Dare i say it... I might even prefer it to OoT. But if you dont like being put under time constraints (i.e lots of pressure) or the ability to turn into other species, best stick with OoT.

  • Its not really a lot of pressure when you just have to put away money on the third day and sing a song.

    And also having the ability to slow time helps a lot. >.>

  • I've played both Ocarina of Time and this. Majora's Mask, in my opinion, is better. One of my favorite games of all time. Great music that fits the dark mood of this game and a great storyline. You've got to play this game!

  • Ever watch the movie Ground Hog Day? Imagine that except you have to repeat the same 3 days over and over. Player TIP: The bank is in West Clock Town and looks like a teenager kneeling in a shop window (likes to tap the floor with both hands repeatedly).

  • Very underrated Zelda game in my opinion. I don't usually hear many positive things about it, but I absolutely love how big this game is and how it offers so many side quests.

    @rainn1379- I'd have to disagree about Sonic being a close competition. Sonic games haven't been good ever since he got into 3D consoles, excluding Sonic Adventure 1 which was decent. Any Sonic game on the Genesis was amazing though.

  • I have never played this game. My friend got it when it first came out and I watched it, but because of how young I was, I was fairly close minded and thought OoT was 100 times better. Now that I am 15, I think it might stand up against OoT... but I doubt it.

  • My favorite Zelda game in the entire franchise, no matter what! Sure every new Zelda game is great, but Majora's mask will be the number 1 Zelda game ever to me! I do think it's better then OoT in my opinion. And what makes me like it more then any other zelda game is mainly the side quests! They might seem small, but they actually keep you playing the game even if you beat majora at the end. The masks are the best idea that i've seen and wish to see there return! D=
    But if you never played this zelda game, let me tell you it's one of the best in existence. Just as good as Twilight Princess!

  • this game is really epic......the whole feel to it, the original gameplay, the better features, the great puzzles and sidequests and an even better story line!!!!

    only thing that can get confusing is the timeline.....this is supposed to be the sequel to ocorina of time, yet in ocorina of time he becomes and adult, but here he's a kid?!?! well in the end of ocarina of time zelda sends him home to live the 7 years he missed.....so this is the story in between the story....confusing? yes..yes it is...

    well aside from that this game is very enjoyable if you enjoy acting under pressure from the constant clock ticking while your trying to solve puzzles....just like me =3 either way i would deffinately reccomend this to all!

  • buforddizzin-hoffer, this game takes place AFTER Ocarina of Time, when Link stays as a child at the end. He countines the adventures and he turns into this town, and thats when the story countines in Major's Mask.

  • I own the manga for Majora's Mask, and apparently he was going through clock town to find Navi(which means OoT takes place before this game). Sounds kind of iffy to me, considering that Link didn't really try to stop Navi when she went through the temple of time's window at the end of OoT, but I guess manga's/whatnot always have to have a bit more of the story showing than just the game, so others understand it more. Legend of Zelda forever <3

  • Xoxima: Aww cmon now you cant go that far. This is a good game and certainly a break from the original style, but Ocarina broke HUGE ground in the gaming world, and could arguably stand up to role playing games of today.

  • Everything about this game is great, but I really HATE the 3 - day system.

  • @Dongra Sonic was good when it only required running and jumping. Sure, the others were fun to play, but then it was just extra baggage. I say keep Sonic the way he was meant to be, a blue running hedgehog!

    Oh, and Majora's Mask FTW!
