Yes, this US version gives me Spanish. I also tried to DL the European version, and I'm still getting stuff in Spanish.

Very responsive controls, amazing gameplay, varied track locales from every previous addition of mario kart- this game is one of the best games (if not the best) games for the DS. If you are into wifi gaming on the DS, this is certainly my favorite game to play!

This game is so sharp
Out of all the games in the DS's library, this one is one of the ESSENTIAL games to own. This is modern Mario Kart done the way it's supposed to be done. I still play Single Player with 7 other CPU players and I can still have lots of fun with this game.
While Wi-Fi is really good, it's horribly limited compared to wireless play. If you have this on your flash card, and you manage to get up to 7 other people with their DSs, you'll probably have the most fun you've ever had with a Mario Kart game.
In short, Mario Kart DS is calling to you, answer it.
P.S. Have patience with the Missions mode, while it does offer a little twist and is quite fun, some of the later missions can get quite tricky, in typical Nintendo fashion. But that shouldn't stop you from playing an amazing game like this, right?

Probably my favourite game - great for 5-minute plays and when you're just bored =] SO fun ... and addictive too! I definitely recommend this.

This game is an absolute MUST HAVE.
We have three NDS in our home, we ALL play Mario Kart! Solo, against each other, and I play against folks at work.
Simply can not go wrong!
And for those saying the graphics aren't as good as on the Wii - you're right, but this is DS - it is by design lesser than ANY console. I'd go so far as to say that for the DS, these graphics exceed many other titles for this platform.

great game but won't let me powerslide or drift. r button works fine in other games so it must be the rom.
This is an Awesome game!!! My brother and i play it on ds download and want to get another card for it so we can play on all the cups, not just the first 4. i love the missions to, though cannot get past the one where you have to get all the item boxes on the beach (i forgot what the track is called >.<).
