i had a nightmare
i first completed this game in about 1o hours, then about 4 and i can now complete the game in under 2 hours. this gets scary but just keep playing and dont waste your ammo on the lizard men things, shoot and run!! a great game!!

this isnt a first person game, none of the RE games are, only the rail shooters on the wii
i like the idea of RE1 on the DS
i used to have this game for ps1 and loved it. so i downloaded it for ds and it's just as i remembered! damn i love this game.
the first-person shots are taken from several ds-exclusive parts, if you choose the ds mode (you can choose to play exactly the original game too, should you like it more. it's a nice extra). you just need to fend of a handful of crows, zombies, or even the snake-boss by slashing or stabbing it with your stylus. it's kinda fun. upon completion, you even get to play some sort of survival mode entirely made out of such scenes. it starts at some given points, and some random. in other words: the mansion is not even safe once you killed every last zombie stone-dead.
