  • I would have to say that this is likely the most awesome game ever. It is my honest opinon that this is the reason the DS was made, and I thusly think that it is really one of the few DS games worth playing (and its only nominally different cousin Pearl as well)...

  • Hmm... Pokemon Diamond is pretty cool, Honestly it would have been better if the evolutions were not so ugly (no offense but i find lickitungs evolution pretty ugly, Oh! and I hate Regigigas)

  • I think this is awesome! I mean, after 11 years of Pokemon (12 technically, in 2008), we get a new generation with many new pokemon! This was the reason I bought a NDS. Playing it with R4 now...

  • The pokemon games are really good. But I believe the Megaman Battle Network (and now the Starforce) series was better.

  • I found that when I continued my game after beating the elite 4, my Dialga and Luxray were missing... Dunno if its a glitch or what, because they just arent anywhere to be found... I'm gonna try the european version instead. Has anyone else gotten this sort of problem?

  • The game is the best release of the pokemon series. I don't know whether it's because i'm getting older but the pokeon games seem to have lost their plot. It seems to be the same one in every game. It's brilliant, graphics are much better, offers hours of gameplay and is addicting, until the end, where there's not much more to do. Once you've completed the game a few times like me you get bored and look for other things to do. It is a good game to get but you could save your money for a better game. The best part in this game is the online gameplay and underground but that option is only available to a limited number of people who are using the DS console.

  • Hmz...everybody is praising this game...but..i dunno..maybe it's because of me..but my opinion: this game is pretty boring..very slow...a lot of conversations between the figures...the Pokemon fight is also boring...

  • A great game, one of the best ones for nds. however, the battles get boring, they're too slow. fortunately, i used no$gba, and it enables speeding up the game.

    for all fans, you can't miss this one. :)

  • Good game, works on all flashcards so far that ive tested, minor glitches if you emulate this ROM so for all you emulators be careful.

  • Hey guess what? In 2009 there is a new pkmn game- Pokemon Platinum!! It's the same, but waaaaay better in a way, and instead of palkia or dialga beong the main one, this one is girantina!! I CAN'T WAIT!!!!

  • Download game again or delete the SAV file( if you using R4 or N1 or other NDS card reader ). probably have bug mine also hang but mine is immediately after the garados advertisement on TV. and you go find other sites to get no$gba. that 1 the best other emu are quite useless

    if you want an awesome game to play, just play Naruto Shippuuden: Narutimate Accel 1 or 2 (PS2)...It's fun and addictive especially with many people to play with... Easy to master!

    if you want an awesome anime to watch or manga to read, just read claymore! No boring events like in naruto and the animation is so cool! It may contain violence but it is a clean one... unlike Baccano or Gantz. Believe me u'll enjoy this show.... especially if ur an anime fan!

  • The game was great, however it's hard to level up strong Pokemons.So I used PokeSav to edit my save, and it turns out great!

  • The Bloody Diamond patch at gbatemp is boss. brings great replay value to the game if you're the type who likes to start over or want a challenge for a very long time.

  • All I can say is: it's Pokemon. And no, not a crappy spin-off. This is the RPG that will ruin your social life. There's so much to do it's unbelievable: battles, contests, "Catch 'Em All", and then there's Wi-Fi... An absolute must-have.

He also helped me make a pokemon theme for the my card, the edge, (works on the cyclo ds too). You can get on the gba**mp site if you want :) We're having problems connecting the game to the wii (white screen issue) but I'm sure my dad will find out how to fix this for me.   • Well I will say that this game is a Legendary game! Ever I see my friends when we join the group of 13 boys and 4 girls! at least 6 are playing this game! and it's awesome game ever of Pokemon!

  • My opinion is that probably the only interesting thing to do after the game ends is to participate in the human-to-human metagame, or if you don't have friends, the Battle Tower(as with all 2nd Gen Pokemon classics ). Still, having new toys to play around with is always a plus for Pokemon fanatics, I suppose.

  • I have a bit of a problem with the ROM playing on my R4 (v.1.18). When I save and turn the game off, then go back to continue the game from where I left off, the screen goes black and does not load the game. I suppose the save file is corrupted, but I've deleted it and tried again and it still has the same effect. Any advice? Is there a utility or download I can use to fix this problem on my R4?

  • jba85 - Maybe the download was corrupted, or somehow incomplete. Maybe you should try to delete the Pokemon Diamond rom and redownload it, though that would mean you lose your save file. Otherwise, i'm not sure =S. Goodluck though,

  • For some reason, I like the 2nd generation games (silver gold crystal) WAY better. Okay, the graphics are better in diamond, but the producers fucked things up in a way I can't describe very well. They added practically nothing but some extra ugly pokemon, nothing big else! The gameplay suits bad graphics, and since the graphics improved, it doesn't fit anymore. They should've either make the fighting real-time, or keep it tb and add some big extra fighting thingey improving the gameplay. For everyone playing on flashcards: Download lameboy, go to the retro-rom section on the site and download pokemon crystal/gold/silver. Hacked versions are even more fun. Just leave this way over rated game to the leetys and start playing a fun version!

    This game was the reason the DS was made ! I have caught all the legendaries, filled the poke'dexes, unlocked everything 5 times and I still love this game and it still fails to surprise me at all!

    It is recommended to anyone with a passion for pokemon.



    P.s - Don't use the master ball 2 catch dialga - try 20 dusk balls and if that don't work - PRAY !
