This game is great! It's a 3D FPS game with simple and easy controls plus a dark, chilling atmosphere. If you're looking for a game to make your your heart beat fast, you've got to play this! NOTE: This works best with earphones.
This game is indeed awesome. It has its gripes (some are pretty big) but which game doesn't? Just like the boxart says, its a crossover between doom 3 and silent hill. It take some things for Doom 3 (can't use flashlight + gun at same time, monsters disappear with that orange glow after you kill them) and silent hill with the creepy factor and puzzles (little girls and zombies).
So if you like those types of games, try it out!

love it though! although the save sucks, which is more like a check point than actual saves.
I've only been playing this game for a little while, but its dark, and an awesome FPS, nothing like the horrible controls that COD4 DS had. Well worth playing

You are not going to find any better 3D graphics for the DS. And that really is saying something. The game is absolutely beautiful, the sounds, graphics, and overall atmosphere all tie together to make the perfect hand held horror First Person Shooter. Very smooth a fluent controls.
Yeah i agree with regular_gamer. this game is really intense, more or less. i thought the monsters were badly drawn but the background is just amazing. i actually got really scared playing this and ima big boy =D. ended up deleting it but im back for more!
Shockingly bad. Although to begin with its darn exciting!
I enjoyed it at first, but having got to chapter 4 it seemed the story was slipping away and it was fast turning into the classic doom shoot em up (or in my case when my bullets ran out a doom hit em with a night stick up!). If you like doom, youll love this. But i was hoping the story would be more strong on each chapter. Then again, its just not my cup of tea, but its a darn good game for those who love the classic dungeon romp set in a ward ona scary night with plenty of blood for all.
Dont expect great graphics! But do expect a mood and atmosphere to keep you on your toes! Definitely one for the lights out and headphones on.

Sorry i cant edit. I forgot to add, the monsters respawn even if you go out the door then back in it having killed them. I found that tedious at times as you do have to go back often. Also when you die you go back to the chapter start, which can be frustrating, but will prolong you from finishing it too early. But having said that, just look above and you'll see many like this game, and id recommend trying it and seeing if its for you. Just dont get too high expectations!

I've found this too scary to play so far.. I just got it, and its night time, and I AM a girl, so maybe I will play tomorrow.. Seems impressive so far though, just mega creepy without a flashlight at the start cause I cant see what is in front of me and I can sense the game to be a real jumpy one! Anyway so far so good :] x

This game made me get so many nightmares that I don't want to play this game anymore. By the way hahahax3, this game really is hard. Did any of you people here get nightmares from playing this game?
On my R4i i have cheats to have all weapons and infinite ammo the creepiest part so far is that little girl in the elevator (R4i works with the dsi and there hasnt been a single game that doesnt work so far coz its AWSOME!!!!!)
I wish there was more games like that on the DS... there's only like 2 games rated mature!

Id give the game a 10/10 but i just fly through the game and its pretty easy so i give it a 8/10 if it was harder and a lot more gameplay then it gets 10/10 aprt from that great game and works perfect on my r4 upgrade

This game was good. The ending however was really dissapointing!!! I hope they come out with a second one or something of the sort to add more to the story line....

I don't play these kinds of games but i am addicted. and laid in bed in the dark isn't such a good idea. i jumped because of the zombie and woke my partner up at the same time lol. anyone not used to these kinds of games then give it a try. soooooo worth it

God it's scary the only i can play this is with cheats to make it have full light
For me, this game wasn't scary, but maybe a little suspenseful at first. (For those wondering, I'm a girl, but my gender has nothing to do with my opinion on the game.) Some of the controls peeved me slightly, but it's nothing hard to get past.
Later in the game (around/after chapter 4) the story basically dissapears which bothered me, but if you like mindless zombie killing, do your thing!
The first time I played is around 3am. When the first zombie rushed at me,my friends rushed into the bathroom and making some funny noises.
That's the funniest thing in my whole life.
fukc man...i always wonder what'll happen if the world is overrun with zombies and i am with a small group of survivors and stuff...scary...i love resident evil though, kick ass muvee kickass game^^

freaky game 8/10
I was a little skeptical, thought it would be not scary at all but the sounds are pretty good when you use earphones. It kind of got boring because I would get "lost" and didn't know where I was going in the game. But it is a good game and it is worth playing.The story line is kind of vague though

this game is awesome! It still made me jump when it was my second time playing even though i knew the zombies were there! this game does have a couple of problems, like the nightstick is hard to aim, but otherwise it is great. 8.5/10

i think the gameplay is great. the graphics are smooth, and it's realistic dementium 2 (i watched a ten minute of lvl 1 on youtube) is not gonna be as good but the good thing is that you can yoggle your flash loght with your knife. but back to one the thing i like about it are the cheats (gotten from codejunkies.com) are good except for the mgbut other than that dementium 1 is good dementium 2 is not moon (made by the same people) crashes on a emulator. the game play is good how ever the shot gun needs more spray and the weapons need bigger crosshairs and the sniper would be better is ads (aim down sight) was optional. but in the second game you could hold health meds in your invenyory i wish they did that for this game.
this game brings resident evil to shame.
