NDS ROM: 1584 - Spanish for Everyone - USA

This is a terrible, terrible game. I downloaded it after reading and watching some of the crap cutscenes, wanting to see just how racist it is. I'm suprised the game was released. If it had been dealing with black people instead of Mexicans, it most likely wouldn't be out. The story is also terrible, and might as well not exist. A boy is playing his brother's DS when his friend Miguel wants to borrow it. Miguel's shady father pulls up in a limo, and takes the DS with him. Then a bunch of cops chase after the limo. The boy decides to go to Tijuana to get his DS back.

You most likely won't learn any Spanish in this game, unless you play on the hardest difficulty, and even then it won't be enough to actually use in a conversation. The first game you play involves matching cards with spanish words, and the easier levels include symbols on the cards, so you don't need to learn spanish to complete it.

The game play is boring, the graphics are terrible, the music is terrible, the story is crazy, and if you really want to know more about it, watch it on youtube.



If you want to learn spanish, I reccomend My Spanish Coach. It's way better!

you know what, its not the prettiest or most effective game, but it is a basic way of learning some spanish. the games are simple, and for some people that might be just what they need.
it has a dictionary in it and some words are pronounced for you. that is a nice touch i think.

use it as extra though, not as a main learning device.
