In Yosumin DS, clear an area with four corners of the same color (to clear an area drag the stylus to outline the area, touch two opposite corners or touch 3 corners). Clear the same color four times in a row to clear all squares of that colour. There are different objectives for each level eg. some require clearing a certain number of each color, some require large clears etc. You can to complete the objective in a certain time limit and is shown by a dropping meter gauge. Each time when you clear an area, the time is extended a little. As the level progresses, the level of difficulty also increases and special blocks also appear.
