  • Good game so far, nice cinematic sequences. Has some real time elements to it, though I must admit that controlling separate units gets pretty hectic when there are many troops on the screen. The units tend to bunch up a bit and at times they hide behind some of the surrounding structures. Liked it enough to buy the game though, addictive quality to it.

  • Im about 45% done the game now. i havent incountered any problems. game play is really fun. this game is like Lost Magic. but. i like this game better then lost magic. if you like this game. you should check out lost magic. Lost magic is alot harder then this.

  • This is a great game. Good cinematic sequences,maximal use of the stylus as well as an interesting story line. As people have mentioned unit control can be a problem, and the lack of items leave something to be desired but this is still a great game to check out =)

  • Again a fantastic final fantasy game.

    I used to play real one before i got my flash card and started downloading roms, got all my characters to 99 a few times, reseted and finished the game over and over! Its really addicting.

  • Im not too sure about the storyline. I mean, it's not bad but I'm not a fan of it. It's not as in depth as other FF games so don't expect a whole new Final Fantasy frontier. However, the gameplay is new and fun. It makes you feel like you are playing Starcraft of Warcraft. It's a new gameplay to the Final Fantasy series, and I guess this is a toned-down version of the Final Fantasy 13 gameplay, which has the time gauge but it's real time. I'd say that this game is real time but because of the identical time interval in between attacks, it's pretty much a simpler version. The graphics for the gameplay is pretty much like the Tactics branch, while the cinematics are kind of... clay-3D-ish. It's not bad for a DS game. It's worth getting since it's fun to play.

  • Quite frankly, I'm a little bit disappointed in this Final Fantasy game. The others have been great, but introducing another genre to the FF range puts it a little down...

    Levels can be insanely frustrating, and even worse, mandatory. I would have prefered faster units, as it's rather annoying to have your opponents enemies speeding in, and watching your squad get smashed by them.

    The difficult levels don't normally give much of a reward, having you spent hours or even days trying to beat them.

    I do like the idea of buying units, because there are so many choices, however, you eventually give up on trying to finish it because it is frustrating to a certain measure.

    I REALLY liked how the world map can change according to events, but much of the story is partly unrelated to the main plot. Judge of Wings battles are frustrating, but overall, worth the download until it becomes repetitive.

  • Isn't that the FFTA system? I mean, The green dude looked kinda like a Baanga. Also, This game looks awesome, and i'm downloading 'cause it reminds me of FFTA1. Nice job dude!

  • Nice game, at firts its kinda boring but it gets better after a couple of missions. I find a problem though its at the end of the game the screen freezes and does not let me see the endind of the game. Im using R4

  • I acctually bought this game before I got my card. It's really good in my opinion. But it does go a bit fast, and some of the battles are kind of hard if you don't know what you're doing. But other then that, it's great!^^

  • didnt like it verry much... it made a distinct impression as if this game was made without any though whatsoever. Maybe because i realy dont like spinoffs.
    The intro video made no sense to me,since i havent played the original FF XII.Why did that ship have any bearing on the game? who are these characters?
    I dunno, in FF IV or FF III you get it the minute you watch the video.Plus this one (FF XII Revenant Wings) has a fucked up storyline,i heard. Will finish it someday,but for now i will finish other games i have on my small SD card (only 4 gb, sheesh!).I will edit this comment if i'll change my mind.I have been wrong before though.
    Just try it and see.It is verry nicely done.I didnt mind the blocky characters.Didnt seem so blocky to me.In fact,i think it is well drawn.Eh screw it,i dunno what to think of this game anymore.As i said,i must finish it - i only played it for 15 minutes,bare this in mind.Sorry if i made you loose your precious time with this comment :)

  • This game is a direct sequel to FFXII obviously but it is also part of a larger collection of games know as the Ivalice Alliance which are set in the world of Ivalice FFXII,FFXII Revenant Wings,FFT,FFTA,FFTA2,Vagrant story

  • I can see by the above comments that there is a large fan base for this game.
    But I have to dissagree, which is a great shame because i am a big fan of FF.
    I found tying to control my fighting force frustrating and it quickly bacame a chore. And it seemed the game was more strategy controlled- based around winning battles, then straight onto- oh yea- another battle!!!!. And so it continued. To my mind, when the story did pop up, it was uninteresting and bland.
    I realise there is a massive following for this game, but for me, I much prefered the other games FF has to offer.

    Am a fan of strategy RPG's and simply love FINAL FANTASY series.
    Hope its worth the DL (am on dialup, yeah real shame! *(sob)*)

    PS: I use an em ulator(no$gba2.6a). Will just increase the screen size. Solves the problem of eyeglasses, lol.

  • mine doesnt save either? what about that i use the latest No$GBa when im trying to save it as usual---> always corrupted and error i even try to make a save folder on that file but it doesnt work either? how did you save this and what NDS(emulator) your using?

  • Mind Fever,you should play FFXII on the PS2,its great,this one on the other hand juust has the characters from FFXII,but different storyline

  • this is really really good! =D I'm 96 percent done but can't seem to get the last 4 percent done- i think the gap between beating finishing the story and completing the missions is too big
