  • Overall, an average game. It has a wifi function, though only to view highscores. It includes a story mode, where you must travel from galaxy to galaxy collecting 'Geoms', which are the currency in the game. These are used to unlock new levels, or new tactics for your drone to use. It also includes a mode called 'Retro Evolved' which is the same as the original, and there is also a co-operative mode.

  • All in all, this is a very simple game. The graphics aren't all that spectacular and the story mode that "seanyboy" refers to isn't so much of a story at all, but more of just different levels. Having said that, I love this game. I really have no idea why but I can sit and play it for hours and it will see like ten minutes. I'm sure that it won't be for everyone, but I would say that it is worth a try. You never know if you will like it (or turn out to be like me and love it).

  • I had some doubts on this game considering the title, but i love it. It is a simple game yet it is addicting to the point you might not want to stop. I really recommend this one.

  • I love it, I actually own the real game *gasp*, and I've put hours into it. Been trying to get gold on all, only got about half so far.



    Each level is different, although each does follow one of a variety of paths (all levels have similar first letters, which tells what type of map it is, from a normal to a black hole level to the ever fun one life with tons of enemies levels.). You've gotta love the helpers... so great.

  • Probably the best retro shooter on the DS, If you don't have this yet, get it.

  • If you're into old-school arcade style games like Robotron or Asteroids, you definitely need to check this game out. Geometry Wars pretty much reinvigorated the genre.

  • i actuly have this game. not the rom the actully game. it is fn and i did finish the whole game.

  • I LOVE This game. It's better than the Xbox 360 version by far and it ports to the DS very well. The graphics are amazing for the type of game and it's simplistic controls and game play make it SUPER addicting.

  • I loved this game on xbox360. DS version is even better. :)
