  • WOOT WOOT!! FINNALY WORKS GREAT ^_^

  • SWEET!!!! THANKIES

  • Finally. I have been waiting on this one.

  • Was wondering when the japanese coach was coming out. Many thanks

  • Wohooo it's here thanks for this i love japanese culture so i guess i will love this :P

  • You probably should have a good understanding of Hiragana and Katakana first...it makes this A TON easier, unless you are just focusing on the speaking aspect. Nevertheless, I will love and cherish this rom. :) :) :)

  • Finally! Now I can refresh my memory and improve my knowledge of the language.=D

  • Is not that good but still serves, seek lessons of Japanese to learn faster and better

  • Finally, I can brush up on my Japanese. Thanks romulation!

  • Sweet nibbly prinny mother of jesus... been waiting for this! yay! my chinese coach kinda bored me, although it's pretty nice, but not exactly the language i wanted to learn.

i know how to read and write in both kanas, a bit of kanji, so i suppose i won't have too much problems with this. i hope it has speech in it (it's US version, so i think there is).

    yay. :)

  • Yea!Its Finnaly out! i have been waiting to learn japanese! THANK YOU ROMULATION!

  • Moto domo arigato!!

    you kids rock!

  • WOOOOHOOOO!!! im soooo wating for his one to come!!!thanks romulation!

  • Yes, finally.~

  • Bout time!

  • This sure is late coming up for download since its release date. The wait made me a lot more excited! Thanks for the upload!

  • Finally! I waited so long for this game! Now I can finally learn JAPANESE!

  • I've been looking for this! Thanks for this!

  • FINALLY IT'S HERE!

  • I'm really enjoying this one. I wouldn't get it if you're a beginner, but for building vocabulary, it's great. Also, if you don't understand the grammar, go get a book like "Easy Japanese" by Jack Seward beforehand. Other than that, love this upload.

  • Volbeat: The release date was the 16th, shipping date was the 15th. The dump was on the 16th and we had it moments later. I don't see why it's so late?

  • Swallow hot coals.

  • Seph: The original release date was supposed to be 23 Sep IIRC. It was pushed back a few times.

  • All you people say things like 'this will brush up my Japanese'... well it very well wont...
Dont learn Japanese from a DS game, most of this Japanese is not usable.. just like text book Japanese.. As someone said before learn off a Japanese person prefferably a friend or family member..

    source
(fluent in Japanese, live there occasionaly, wife and kids are Japanese)

  • I don't feel that this game really "teaches you japanese." It kind of serves as a vocabulary booster at most.

I also feel that the mascot (Female in kimono) is quite cliche.

  • Awsome nihongo daisuke desu ^^ I am totally getting this

  • I do japanese at scool....... Bokuwa Zaku desuka
    My name is Zac

  • Finally, been searching for this.
Might help my girlfriend as well, she's working at a Japanese company based here(Philippines).
    Thanks romulation...

  • YAY!!! Thank you SO much for this! I have been praying for something like this for DS for a long time!!!

  • "herochane31 writes
Awsome nihongo daisuke desu ^^ I am totally getting this"

Wrong... it's Daisuki not daisuke.. daisuke is a boys name.

    "cds writes
I do japanese at scool....... Bokuwa Zaku desuka
    My name is Zac"

You just said "Am I Zak?"... Don't add ka.. that makes it a question. Don't try and flaunt your japanese if its incorrect, you make yourself look foolish.

And yes this game wont teach you Japanese at all.. you must already have an understanding about Hiragana and speeking Japanese in General. Then it can help you a little to learn stroke order and expand your vocabulary ect. (If you wunnu learn words like chair, cat, dog, girl, boy.. simple stuff.)

  • I wish it will help with memorizing my vocabulary and grammar sigh

    long waited though

  • Billyhooker, you beatme to correcting that kid!

    Ill get em' next time.

btw, you spelled (spelt?) speaking wrong, you typed 'speeking'.

ok time for the grammar nazi to go away.

  • Whoot Hoo!!!

  • Well cool. luvvin da game. fanks guys.

  • Perhaps you should lighten up billyhooker. It's difficult to learn multiple languages and I highly doubt the above comments were people trying to "flaunt" their japanese skills. They're just practicing. It's nice that you corrected them, but do you have to be such an arse about it afterwards?

  • Serfer's right, give them some credit - as long as they the game out and are enthusiastic about it.

  • Arigato

    XD

be nice to people who are trying to learn japanese

    watashi wa riazu desu

  • Weeaboos trolling other weeaboos, lol. You are all sad.

  • Im only doing this so i can understand the new japennese episodes of Naruto Shippunden but i also want to learn japennese and so far so great=) thx romulation

  • /kiss this will so give me a leg up in my Japanese 101 come September

  • From the screencaps, this doesn't look very reliable. I guess this COULD help for beginners, but you're not going to become fluent from this.

  • Excellent game. Perfect for catch up studying or brand new learning.

My girlfriend didn'know a word of japanese and she's already speaking phrases I don't know XD

  • I have over 7 Gigs of Japanese learning materials on my computer, and this right here is a good little tool for practicing on the go. It's all simple little games focused for on repetition than anything, not really the best way to learn the language, but it is worth going through, It's real value doesn't start to show until you ahve unlocked most of the lessons, so that you can bounce around and practice exactly what you feel you need more practice in.

  • i wish they make a my korean/hangul coach so i can finally understand my favourite korean bands

  • Arigato!!!!!
Thanks so much. I want to understand the culture and language and this is perfect arigato again!

  • you know its far easier to learn Japanese when you know languages like Chinese or Korean beforehand

  • Learn Chinese the grandaddy of all asian texts. Even if you don't understand Japanese grammar, you can sort of pick out the meaning of the text when you read japanese games.

  • I actually like this, but I want to learn how to pronounce the words, not to actually write them. Does the game start as if you know nothing about japan??

  • OMG THIS IS GREAT! i can already read write AND speak in sentences! woots!
btw im on the 3rd map now, definitely an awesome download

  • Not a good game, but a very good way of learning japanese.

  • They should make a German one.

  • yay! now I can learn Japanese anytime, anywhere!

  • woooot!

  • Foooo
