There is a 'repack' version available for the 'non working' dumps. Not sure if this is the 'repack' one or not (yet) - check the .nfo!

This is the repack version.
This didn't work on Version 2 R4, game got stuck after entering name.
With the versione 1.18 R4 the italian mode work

This game is amazing! It's so addictive but soooo annoying at the same time! Great puzzles but make sure you have nothing else planned for the rest of the day because you can't put it down if your as stubborn as me!! :D

You need some stamina with this one ~ puzzled out ~ think laterally and outseide the box ~ not for kids. rating 3 star, just because of the number and fequency of the puzzles
My partner is banned if a new one comes out he was not off it loved the puzzles,i would not say this is for youngsters as alot of the puzzles quite hard,ages 8 upwards if up for a challange,waiting for my go still lol : )
This game is the best thing ever!!! i have been addicted to this since i downloaded it after getting hooked solving 3 puzzles on my parents would you believe. Im even being asked to take the DS round to my partners just so he can play it. Needless to say, i hate having to hand it over for any length of time!!!! this is deffinatley one game you have to play when there are no plans for the rest of the day :)

I really like this game, its very challenging sometimes but it is a great game. For me i get bored after a couple of hours but when i got it i played for 5 hours flat!

Anyones game say that they are incorrect at the card puzzle towards then end? Its the puzzle when u are in the tower....a little old lady is asking you? I cant progress and I know I am putting the cards in the right order but it keeps saying incorrect! Help!!! I need to complete this game for my own sanity!

Voilà et après avoir touché l'écran, noir complet plus rien mais la ds est tout de même allumée. Aidez moi au plus vite s'il vous plait !!! J'aimerai tellement joué à ce jeu !

That is and after the screen, black full have affected nothing but the ds is still turned on. Help me to as quickly as is it you please! I would like so played this game!
I've just got this game for my birthday. It is an excellent game and one you can enjoy solving with the family. Even my 80 year mother in law wants a DS now.

Gissinger: Try deleting your save file (2897 - Professor Layton and the Curious Village (E)(M5)(XMS).sav). If that does not work, check if you have an option in your flashcart menu to choose save-file type, and try another type. If that doesn't work aswell, try getting the (U) version of the game, as I herd sum rumerz that this is a repack version.
Edit: To not be totally off-topic: This is a wonderful and at times very challenging game, and I recommend it to every person ages 12-200. Some of the puzzles may be too hard to people below 10-12, but still a high quality game. One of the few DS games I consider paying for.

Very good puzzles in this game, some of the dialogue in between can be annoying and lond winded. Would definately recommend though!
Excellent game but can't seem to save it (it says that it's saved but when you restart it's not there)
My second game i got on the ds, really fun,if stuck there is a blog online with help something like professor layton blog i think it is, i got stuck always. liked this game, but loved hotel dusk, thats more.... story, where as this is puzzle after puzzle but god ending :)

Great game - starts of easy and gets harder as you go along. Great for keeping you mind active with solving the puzzles.

Amazing graphics, and the movie-type entrance to the game is intriguing. I didn't get very far in the game, as I am not the type for puzzles, but the storyline seems decent. I would suggest this game for the older player, this game is not meant for really young children.
Ik zoek meer nederlandse ds spellen dit doordat mijn kinderen ernstige vorm van dyslexie hebben en geen andere buitenlandse taal kunnen en al moeite moeten doen om het nederlands te lezen en om ze te stimuleren zoek ik nederlandse ds spellen wie kan mij daar aan helpen zoek oa. suske en wiske - de texasrakkers, rummikub, 1 tegen 100, professor layton.

This is an excellent game with great gameplay and graphics. The puzzles are sometimes complicated but very enthralling. The plot hides many mysteries that are revealed towards the end. Altogether this is a worthwhile game to play. If you liked it, I would strongly recommend part; Professor Layton and the Diabolical Box (USA) or Professor Layton and Pandora's Box (Australia)
