Is it not working due to the game freezing, or is it giving you the "save file cannot be created" message? More details, please.

Basically, what I'm asking is, do we need a patched game to make it work on the R4, or can it be made to work using the arm7 fix?

Alright, so it sounds like this is yet another new game that will not work on R4 without being patched. I'll give using the arm7 fix a shot on this, but it sounds like it won't make a difference. If it does, I'll come back and post about it here.

In the meantime, if anyone knows of a patched version of this game that works on R4 carts existing somewhere, a link would be greatly appreciated.

The screen becomes black on my m3 too. The emulator 'ideas' can't play it either. It is pitch black. Probably the rom has a problem.

I've got the itouchDS and screens are black too.the new tony hawk gives me the same black screens too.

Well lukky the reason for the black screen on tony hawk would be that it needs the f*****g periperal. thus the name "motion"

Tried patching with arm7 with R4 ver1.18 but did not work. Works using YSmenu on R4 Though.

Works on my R4 through YSMenu. You can also try unofficial 1.19, it seems to work with it too. Check R4 compatibility list for more info.

Freezes on the No$ emulator too. I think is a rom problem.

It's not a problem with the ROM, neither the R4, the M3 or NO$GBA are a good measure of whether a ROM is a proper or not.

Patch the R4 with YSmenu, but seriously the game isnt really worth the trouble

As far as i can tell the R4 and M3 are quite popular so if it doesnt play on them and there is no patch or upgrade than "it's a ROM problem" is probably an appropriate conclusion.
