Does anyone else think that this size for a cooking game is outrageous? 160 calories to the first person that downloads... Done!
The size is actually not unusual. The last cooking based game like this, "Can't Decide What to Eat" was a similar size. It probably has a lot of video.
This game has about 20 videos showing you how to cut. and prepare different produce, thats why its a larger size than normal, plus if you look at what else it offers, shopping list, guides to terms etc.
Man i wonder how long it took to dump this, like maybe 3 hours or more, anyway thanks romulation.
Well... This is "Cooking Guide: Can't Decide What to Eat?", except that the American release got a shorter title to boot and the 40mb difference (as in less) between the European release can be attributed to the off-set of the French, Italian and German chefs voice clips.

This is almost not a game... It totally guides you on foods that comes from around the world.. oh yeah, it really helps our mothers to cook really delicious foods!! HAHAHA
Anyone know where i can get a working rom of Can't Decide What to Eat?? all roms i've seen so far are from europe or japan
This "game" is fantastic! and my husband is totally excited since I'm not a big cooker...I've already put together a shopping list and will be trying some of these recipes out. The format is really awesome and easy to follow, I think I'll get a lot of use out of this GIANT file ^_~

Oh man, I need to get the EU version...I have no idea what these measurements are. When with the US get with the program and go metric like the rest of the world???

Oh My God, This Thing is Incredible! So worth the time and effort to download. Definitely going to use it to cook something. If your skeptical about downloading, don't be. You will be very happy with the end result.
Kikihamzu: Really? To convert between the various measurements in metric you usually only have to multiply or divide by a factor of 10, that's dirt easy. There goes 12 inches to a foot ad 3 feets to a yard. Exactly which seems most logical? That's not even counting barrels, stones, pounds ect.

I cant seem to get this game to work on M3 Real DS. I wonder what I am doing wrong? Maybe too big??
I had problems with Can't Decide What to Eat (E) version. Thought it was a bad Download, til i switched off the soft reset option on the start screen, it works fine now, and it's great to use too!
The size of the file is huge, and what you get is crap..
My wife found Fred Willard advertising this product absolutely hilarious. And, kikihamzu, if you were to grow up in any country beside the US, you would not be pleased with our crazy, out of whack measuring system. But, I hope you have fun with the US release.

Can any one tell me , the measuring system in this program, does it have a metric system in it also, I have a cool book with the american measuring system but metric's way eazyer.
Well, I would also like to know if there is a metric system. Or I guess I'll have to stick to the EU verison.

This is not a crap actually this is a recipe book and it is useful
I have made 20+ dishes from this software and all have been excellent. I recommend the apple crumble. It is easy and delicious. The shopping list function is also fantastic. I can just carry my ds to the store with me. This program has turned me from a toast burner to a pretty decent little chef. I love all the educational software. It's gotten to the point where I carry my ds with me absolutely everywhere. Straight from cooking to drug dealing in Chinatown Wars to farming on rune factory. I love my DS!
How well does it work in an Emulator?
I made the apple crumble for a wedding. Didnt understand the measurements in the recipe so estimated let's just say it was crunchy,sweet hehe I used way to much sugar hehe but it was yum.
Compared to other cooking games the recipes are simple
I love this game, and wanna try later, but it's sound difficult when measurements the recipe into the real meal,

Took me around 45 minutes compared to other ones that are always 3-10, its nice but freezes really fast on emulators.
XD This game is great for people who like to cook and people who want to learn. I just wish they made a version for vegans. XD

I downloaded both the europian and american. 1 one i thought well heck I want to cook then found out, hey I also don't know how to measure. so i downloaded the american and long behold i can cook.
