  • I've only played the first few levels, but they were fun the platforming sections arent that hard but they are secret areas to find so playing through them multiple times to find everything will probably be needed. The puzzel element is faily basic, as stated above it is like puzzle league ds, but if you like that type of puzzle game this will be fun. Thankfully when you switch to puzzle mode the platforming section pauses. The only thing I find kind of annoying is the gibberish the characters speak in cut scenes. But overall I'm enjoying my time with this and will probably go buy it next time I go to the store.

  • Stop comparing Hatsworth to Layton. Layton is logic puzzles, Hatsworth is constant platforming with a bejewled clone mixed in.

    Anyway, I love this game. Was worried thatwhen the blocks and platforming goes on at once that it would be overwhelming. It adds great variety to the boss battles, power up collecting and being able to summon your super robot.



    Played through the first world, and I'm addicted. It's manages to be a little challenging at times which makes me happy, the end boss for world one was a great one. Story is funny to say the least.



    If you love either genre, you will enjoy this.

  • The platforming aspect is reminiscent of the excellent Wario Land Gameboy games in the way momentum is used in combat. I thought the Bejeweled clone puzzle part would get tiresome but new enemies constantly add new twists to it and thank god the game designers didn't feel the need to hold your hand and launch a tutorial every time something changes. What little bit of storyline and plot is quirky and fun and doesn't take itself too seriously at all. And is easily skippable.

  • Im having major trouble with this. im using an R4 and it keeps telling me to reinsert the cartridge. what am i doing wrong?

  • Pakx, try changing the save file type, highlight game in list then hold select and press right

  • This is a fantastic game, great idea for having the mix of both 2D platformer and puzzles, & the need to mix & ballance the two.

    It'll put a smile on the face of anyone who can read the loose plot, from 6 to 60. A definite winner all round.

    Not to be confused with Professor Layton, that's a different bag.

  • @ robbieholland the reason they are saying they are going to buy it is because they use these downloads as demos then if they like it go out and buy the game thats what I do anyway. and if no one bought games wed never get a sequel

  • Absolutely love this game, highly addictive. Simple idea, straightforward game play. Totally different to Professor layton for those thinking it was similar but I've enjoyed playing both. Basic platform game linked to a block bashing puzzle. Runs really well too.
