  • Before pople start posting like nuts, the game has possible anti-piracy. It seems to lock up on R4's and CylcoDS's while summoning a monster. My AceKard 2 however has no trouble while using the latest AKIAO fw.

  • DerApe: Stop lying. I have R4 V1.18 and I just dueled "Winged Kuriboh" and won. That obviously took monsters to win. Please contribute infomation that CAN be proved!!

  • Gaara11...try downloading it again...It does work..I have R4 V.1.18 and I have played the "World Championship" and "5D's Story Mode" and it works perfectly

  • Guys there is an english option!...but when you look at a card, the card's name is in japanese and the drawings itself...but the whole description is in english. For example, monster reborn has a cross sign unlike the one in the US version...

    Another problem in this game and which i hate a lotthe most! Is the dueling field, plus, the way the monsters summon, attack ...everything! also the cards you hold look really bad. You can't zoom at a monster anymore. Personally, nightmare tradabour is much better than this game!

    Play it if you want to....story mode is nice but as I told you I didn't like the part when u duel...that's all :)

  • This game is great and worth the size and download. It has english in it so no need to patch the cards are japanese on it but everything else is in english. There are a lot of new features that makes this game great. The new dueling feature is kind of bad because you cant zoom up on cards or monsters but it's readable from the distance that they give you to look at but you can zoom up on the monsters so you dont really get a good look at them. Everything seems fine so download away because you don't need to wait for the english version because the OCG is better anyways and have new stuff right? x)

  • The picture of the cards are in japanese, but the story, description of the cards & everything else has an english option. (and possibly more)

  • Confirming that this is really in English, I presume it's automatic if your DS is set to English.

    The game's good, main difference is that the card images used the Japanese one, so japanese names and description in the picture (in game description is still in English). Japanese card images also means that you'll get to see the original images of some that is censored in the US version (such as Premature Burial and Foolish Burial).

    The battle itself is kinda sluggish when compared with 2008 version.

  • This game seems to be Multi-6, because Japanese, English, French, German, Spanish and Italian are supported (switched automatically to German on my DS, Menues, Card's Names and Descriptions and Story is Multi-langual, Card's previews are in Japanese).

  • Omg. This is English. Well, could it depend on what flag you choose for your country? I chose Australia, and everything was english, except for the card images, but the descriptions and names were.

  • Moodi u are right dueling graphic is better in 2008 but story mode end numbers of card all better i have really fun from 2009 u know that fun from playing is important not graphic. So if (i mean eny one who read this) want nice duel graphic end cards only from gx end normal yugioh play 2008 or play 2009 when u are boring gta or if u want play new cards end have a lot of fun. PS: Stardust Assault Mode RULEZ

  • The rom is working perfect for me, the only problem is all the new cards and synchro summoning asa i aint played yugioh games since 2007 lol

  • Synchro is basically a Tuner (check Card's description) + a Non-Tuner (any other monster card). Then you just go to your Synchro Deck, and just click "Summon" and Choose the one available. It'll sacrifice the two cards and ta-da! Synchro time.

  • The CPU Duelists take their own sweet time. After the Battle Phase, they take like 5 seconds to end turn. Other than that, excellent game!

  • Well in 2008, you had to duel an AI 10 times just for that AI to be available as a tag partner

  • It's a decent (challenging) card game, but at times the gameplay can really fustrate the hell out of you! GawD! :( ....sorry.

  • Well for 128mg you would think the game would last longer then 2hours of game play! the stroy is very short.

    the only thing thats hard about this game is the fact that you need to make a pretty good deck and the deck i would have to say that would be is light sworn dad/glad/zom are not the best over all when it comes to the last battle where you must play 4 duels in arow with the same 8000 life points well any ways good luck to all!

  • @ Setol : try googling something like : Stardust Instant Win [Press Select] and you'll find the code... I just copy/pasted the codes, i didn't make them...

    @domicro : R4 is like a game cartridge on which you can put your downloaded games and play them on your DS (search for r4ds, or r4 revolution...)

    When i open \_ds\_mshl.nds with nosgba, i get a message saying " can not found moonshl folder"

    "An error was detected while trying to access the disc or a file."

    I checked the content and location of moonshl and it shoul be fine since its in same folder as \_ds\_mshl.nds

  • A good game,better than championship 2008 players are shown on 3d too ,better graphics,more cool and exciting cards,now the enemys talk and not always saying the same thing.

  • For those of u too lazy to google it: to get a partner for the tourney just go to the underground duel arena where u fought akiza and duel someone there. i recommend angie as a partner (blue haired girl). after u beat the person they will ask if u wanna form a tag team, say yes and go back to the arena and talk to mc!!!!

    lol all the story mode tourneys are only 3 duels long, and the game lasts for so little time in story mode, at least wc mode takes a long time

    ps after u beat the game u CAN turbo duel. just go to the old highway and talk to either yusei or trudge. however these seem to be the only people u can turbo duel. tell me if u find more!

  • For peeps with the nocash gba problem where the game starts up in spanish, the solution is this directly from the forums of nocash "Delete firmware.bin and the two BIOSNDS files while you're at it." I did it and WOHOO!!! It's all in english!

  • I totally love this game! I think it´s the best one in the whole serie but thats just my opinion. But I think I love the story the most( it's about a boy/girl that has amnesia and try's to get her/his memory back by dueling). You should definetly download this game, it has English options.

  • This game is great if you like 3d free roaming and you can duel anyone that you see on the street but the duel camera is too far away and when you attack you don't see 3d models just anime drawings. p.s. there is and option for every major language so yes there is a german option
