  • The protagonist of the game returns from a forest where he battled a

    great number of monsters to celebrate his sixteenth birthday and

    coming-of-age ceremony, only to find a young girl, Eryll, suffering

    from "crystal sickness". The hero then sets out to find a cure for the

    disease. However, he is unaware that outside his village lies a world

    where crystals are merely artifacts of the past and no longer exist.

    Also involved is Sherlotta, a girl with a mysterious connection to

    crystals.

    It uses a new engine created by Square Enix called the Pollux Engine,

    which allows players to link up and adventure together in multiplayer

    Works on the R4 but it is the USA version.

    Yeah I tried a few times online last night and everyone lagged with about 1-3 seconds time between button press and movement. Ive seen talk around with something to do with the EU servers wont be up till the game is properly released, no Idea if thats the actual case but I even lag with worldwide games. Im not sure whats going on but Its making me want the US release of Phantasy Star Zero even more seeing as thats completely lag free.

  • This game is TOO cool, seriously. I forgot to go out of multiplayer mode, and noticed this guy that was in my world could help me play the game! All went just like single player but he was in my world helping me as the only difference. The wii-ds thing is awsome as well, pumps up the multiplayer community a lot

  • I have the solution for r4 firmware 1.19, at least it worked perfectly for me:

    1. download the game here

    2. download these DAT-files and replace them with the files on your card:

    these are USRCHEAT.DAT and CHEAT.DAT

    3. if you have done that i should work, if it doesn't work download the patched final fantasy and just replace the USRCHEAT.DAT and the CHEAT.DAT

    4. if you start up your DS and go to the file of final fantasy and choose "cheats" and select "bypass anti-piracy code" or something and it will work

    to play this just download the 2 new CHEAT.DAT and USRCHEAT.DAT files from a site which i don't know now :P and download this or a already cracked game and when u start up your DS, go to the file of final fantasy and select cheats and then select "bypass anti-piracy code" and then i should work at least for my r4DS firmware version 1.19

  • I have downloaded this rom and trying to play in pc with No$gba 2.6a emulator. But when I enter the 1st training battle, (just passing the 1st save point), it says, "The rom-image has crashed" and then the emulator automatically stops. And also, the game doesn't save.



    **People are talking about the r4 and acekard to get it work. But I have no idea about it. are these flash cards work when playing the game in pc?? I really need help. Specially about the "crash image thing" thanks.

  • Don't download teh 1.19 firmware for the R4 it isn't an official firmware update.

  • In order to play FFCC: EoT in NO$GBA, you need to find a file named "firmware.bin" for playing the game smoothly and save inside the game. Also please note that "firmware.bin" is available in different languages as most gamers find an US version game in different languages when they play in NO$GBA emulator.Please go to following Link:

    Here you will get the English Firmware for No$GBA2.4a.after unzipping it,go to the n0$gba 2.4a folder and

    Copy the "firmware.bin" and other BIOS files to the same directory as your emulator(No$GBA any version you have in your posession)

    Now you might be able to play FFCC: Eot without any save related problems.

  • AAAGGGHHH whenever I get to the first bit in the forest were u learn to fight my game just freezes and I cant even use the soft reset. Im using an R4 ds and no matter what I do it just get the same freeze. Iv'e tried using the Arm7 patch on both US and EU regions but both have the same effect. the soultions most people have on this page only seem to fix save problems (which I probably have anyway but I cant get to any point worth saving). Please help me!!!

  • Ok i will help you out cause this is how i did it: (when u have already started it once u need to delete the Save file from Final Fantasy



    1-First u need to download R4cce at the website: http://hp.vector.co.jp/authors/VA013928/soft.html you just scroll down until u see the download link.



    2-Second download the cheat file at: http://ndss.nl/viewtopic.php?f=16&t=60&hilit=cheat.dat+usrcheat&start=270 Ignore that it's dutch and scroll down until u see a list of .dat files And choose the one u need for your DS. If it isnt at the 19th page u just gotta go there.





    3-Put the Cheat file in ur menu map from ur DS card. I use a DSTT so its called TTmenu just figure out what its called at your DS. Then replace the downloaded cheat file with the cheat file in your "menu map





    4-Now open R4cce and then place your Cheat file from ur "menu map" to R4cce.

    there should be a big game list then and scroll down to FF Crystal Chronicles Echoes of Time(E).





    5-Click the + next to that name and there wil come a list with cheats. Click the Backup Enabler/Game fix Code. Then click Code On at the right and Save it.





    6-When u start up your DS now go to Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Echoes of Time go to the option menu. (This is how it works for my DSTT) There put Cheats ON and then go to Cheats and there is a list with Cheats and then put on the Backup enabler/Game Fix Code.





    I hope you can let it work. You just gotta find a way with the Option menu from ur DS how to get the cheat work.

  • I have a m3 simply too and no idea howto save. all of you were talking about r4 and some emulators but even if i followthe " fix links" above for the r4, i cant download the file because of a broken link -.- . is there any other way to get a version og this game that work 100%??? without all this patches and stuff?

    This is the link to the EU patched version (for R4, and the other people who have problems with saving the game like myself.) The download is still up, so grab it when it's still hot (before it's deleted.) I'm downloading it right now, so I'm not sure if it works, but on another site multiple people said it worked!

  • ive bein tryin to get this working on my r4 for the last 2 days finaly got it workin all i had to do is go to r4 website just type in r4 v1.19 download that new kernel an put it on to ur r4 by pasteing it in ur system folder(thats wot i done ne way) an once that done turn on ur ds select the game an u shud be able to press y an use ur stylus to tick the by pass anti piracy box save an exit and enjoy ;)
