  • Not what I expected, but still fun. I beat 2 levels and thought it was auto save and turned it off. When I went to play agian I started over.

  • Actually, isn't it just a replication of real landmark locations in Japan? It has nothing to do with The World Ends With You.

    I played this in (J), and I immediately loved it afterwards.

  • The art direction is different, too. It seems all real, for some reason. I actually like that kind of feeling.

  • @katiak - Well, yeah, a bit, because they both take place in Shibuya. And I'm pretty sure both games are accurate. But ironically, I was thinking similarly; that it was similar to TWEWY...but not a ripoff.

  • Decent game that may be worth playing around with just for some of Cannon's one-liners, but dulls pretty quickly. Regardless, props to Atlus for bringing interesting games/series like this to western countries so much lately (on the DS, at least).

  • Sorta reminds me of a double dragon style throwback side scroller, it does get a bit trick when u get 2 some of the bosses, but it is repetitive, much like the ive been waiting 4 this comments!!!hint hint... It would have been way cooler if you could do more combos or obtain different moves along the way, def worth checking out tho!!!!

    I Don't expect it to be great considering it has very bad reviews but it looks it'll be a bit of fun, especially since the other games released lately are all "learning" games or games for little girls.

  • The game isn't great but can be fun for quite a while, an hour that is...

    The combos and moves are very repetitive and you won't learn any new moves further in the story.



    I'm dissapointed.

  • Great fighting game but too short it takes about 2hours to beat it "down".

  • I don't know about this game, I think it's really poorly made. The punch and kick actions seem to take a while to actually do anything, and the combat is really boring and repetitive.

    Like the rest of you guys, still holding out for CORE!

  • As for my last comment, it feels really realistic. And with its own flair, it looks amazing.

    The gameplay seems like a Streets of Rage side-scroller, because its storyline is almost identical in its mood, only it's not on night streets. Storyline does get funny after a while.

  • Yes its fun. for a side scroller. Combos wish they had more, but it still works..cop tv shows from late 70s to mid 80s feeling almost. You can do special moves, punch, kick, use guns: pistol, submachine, or shotgun, too. The puns in this game are hilarious, but game play can be repetitive, but its still fun for a beat em up type game. I'm at 6th lev, had to take a break

  • If you want repetitive, try Dynasty Warriors DS: Fighter's Battle. I beat it on all 3 difficulties, and insulted by how easy it was, Sacker. At least this isn't like Dynasty Warriors. .\_\_\_.'

  • Nothing to do with Japan or Tokyo, bit of a bad representation but cool game for a little while.

  • This game has a tight story line and has really awsome fighting action

  • Haha, pretty cool mix of final fight, buring fight etc - the music is so laid back for game such as this violent - hehe only the Japanese are this whacky!

  • To any of the people that are comparing this to The World Ends With You... well... first off.. TWEWY is an RPG, and this is a Arcade-Styled Beat-em-up game.. second... TWEWY is fantasy oriented and has noize (monsters) as this has random gangster-looking dudes that you beat up.... HUGE DIFFERENCES....
