  • FIRST! WOO

Finally i'll be able to learn even more english despite being predicted top grade in it for my exams, and the fact that i have a very good command of said language.

  • Perhaps as a European release it wasn't meant for pretentious american children, but more for a traveller whose native language isn't English.

  • No... it is probably for children who need to learn more engrish. If they designed a game for a couple hundred travelers that might buy it, but probably wont, they wouldent turn a profit.

  • X9x9x: Your supposed 'very good' command of the English language has many a flaw in the one sentence you typed. Such as 'i' should be 'I', there is a comma after Finally and 'english' is English. this game is made for you!!!

  • Wow! As you can see clearly here, I do not have a strong command of the language and my repertoire of words is as shallow as a kiddies' pool. I will try out this game and hopefully my command of this noble language will improve by leaps and bounds :)

  • Somehow I knew this comment page would turn like this...

This game is in the same way as "My Japanese Coach", "My French Coach", "My Czech-Lebanese Coach"

Yes, this one is "English", but stop these "omgzzzzz i no english becoz every1 knoes engrishhhh"

  • Not everyone knows English! Don't assume! The world's most spoken languages are Spanish and Chinese. And just as we learn French, Spanish, German, Italian (well I do anyway) they might want to learn our language too.

  • Fail My English Coach for FRENCH ppl

  • I'm going to download this, just to see how well I do, English is my native language, so if I screw up...I dunno. D:

  • Can you play the game in dutch i cant speak french

  • I understand the games for languages which are not as common, Japanese, French etc. But English should be learned in school, if it's not one's native language. This game is total fail.

  • By that logic those of us who don't speak chinese, hindi and spanish should have to take it in school, since they're the most prominent languages along with english. Besides, everyone knows the learn-english game is Eigo o Taberu Fushigi na Ikimono Marsh. so awesome.

  • Hold up. Although it is true that the English language is not the most spoken language in the world, it is certainly the most widespread among the high and middle classes. Thus, English is the most widely used language amongst those who hold prominence in the world. Remember, it is the language of business.

I'm not justifying it, I'm just saying...

  • Well then we should also be learning mandarin in school. I'm canadian and had to take years of french because we're considered a biligual country. french is useless to me, I would much rather have learned chinese as it is far more useful in the business industry i ultimately ended up in. We learned almost nothing about the aboriginal people in this country and the funniest part is, as a constitutional monarchy the queen of england is our head of state! None of it makes any sense but hey, it's how we do things up here.

all I'm saying is if we're going to start telling people who don't speak our language that they should start learning it in school, we should also consider how much we should be learning as an automatic course starting in early childhood.

  • Dude, im australian and who cares about i needing to be I.

the first thing i thought when seeing this was LOL teaching english people to use english to speak better english but thats obviously not the case

  • Ting kaw awa?

  • Of course it's useless for english speaking people!

Even if you think "I will try this to see how I do!".... This game will be something like 5 hours of learning "Hello, Thank you, Goodbye, I love cheese" then another 5 hours to learn verbs like "talk, climb, stand up"

ALSO! you will have to "learn english" form another language, like French or German,

so I think it's just a waste of time to "try to see how I will do, I am native english speaker"

  • Though I *do* like cheese...

  • I can honestly state that my command of the English language has far surpassed that from when I wrote my first comment (that broke the current rules). Not because of this game particularly, but I know that my younger sibling could do with this to help improve her poor spelling and understanding of sentences.

  • Kan hy ook van Netherlands naar Englisch?

  • First was he cool but later boring
