  • Sorry to disappoint you guys but anime games like this are hardly ever translated. Unless some uber-extreme-fan-that knows-japanese-and-english-and-also-happens-to-know-how-to-hack-and-roms-and-is-extremely-generous comes along, fat chance.

    Anyways, yeah, this game was released quite a while ago but you know, otome games (female protagonist choose your adventure stories and such designed for otakus or whatever) never get released on the right date, because no one rips them here, like Bakumatsu Renka. They did have a release on www.otomedream.com but some people got REAL mad when someone released the link to an outsider and jacked up the price to insane heights, LOL.

    As for a translation...I don't think it's gonna happen, there was only one otome game up to date that has been officially released here right? Unless you wanna count those games by Hanako Games or something. *Cough* Cute Knight is exactly the same as Princess Maker from Japan*Cough*

    Luckily for me, I know English, Japanese, and Chinese, hooray for me! Buuuut, my Japanese is too underleveled to do translations though. I learned it on my own just so I could play games, so grammar and vocab are both big issues. Sorry guys.

  • Yikes, no wonder the price jacked up so high. I was wondering why wasn't the rom coming out for a while. Then i got impatient and i order a copy from yesasia, which cost me about RM200+ T\_\_\_\_T thank god they were providing free delivery and waived of shipping tax and so on. But overall it's not that hard to play this game. I can speak japanese, but i can't read to save my life. Just get a phrasebook with katakana and hiragana table (it will be your guide), since the 7 heroes will be speaking, those who watch anime often should be able to catch up with it. It's only 'eyeless' Yuuki you wouldn't be able to understand, because she never speaks. Haha hope i helped. :D Thanks for the rom, romulation.

    good games are in japanese becase most of them are based on the manga & quality tends to be superb.. unlike those pixelated games that are oh-so-stimulating.. -\_-

    ...or maybe just because they are japanese. hahahaha. but I hope ALL the jap games should ought to be translated for the whole world's convenience. :D

  • its not like an official release is going to be made of any other language - since the majority of the other countries don't have their translated series - no dub - and no merchandise so how could they rtanslate and sell a game aoubt an anuime not many people know?

    I know there are subs, but they are fan made and only on the internet..

  • I don't think there is ever going to be an english version because this anime series show was made in Japan and I don't think they're going to want to translate a game that is meant to be Japanese. Because they're tinking that Vampire Knight is only popular in Japan (no it isn't. You can watch translated ones of it) since it is in Japanese so they think only Japanese ppl were to buy it if they made it. Thus, Vampire Knight will never be english (but at GBATemp you might find an english patch).
