No, it's Japanese only, some of the menus are in English but that's all.

Game is pretty good, despite being in Japanese. Can not wait to get the NA version. Playing on no$gba, have not tried my EZ Flash V yet.
I think i'll wait for the E/U version to come out, then i can wait for that to get patched (CURSE YOU SQUARE ENIX AND YOUR INSISTENCE ON TRYING TO STOP US PIRATES! YARR!) so I can play it in English.
As brilliant as the original KH games were (Imagine SE revealing a new one at E3...), I want to get what they're saying and understand the plot properly so i'll wait for it in English.

WHOOOO it's a big game eh, finally a north american gma eto use the 20whatever gbit card. DS games can be soo much more if they'd just use the bigger cards. Chinatown wars could have been 2x the size it was, not that it wasent a good game though. ;-)

I'm lovin' the pannel system, this should be featured in KHIII!! I mean, lets say that you have a powerfull keyblade form that uses up 1 space and has 4 combine spaces. Now form it like this!
[1x](extention)[2x][1x]5x[1][2x]+(extention)[1x] for each extention or single that you place in the link zone, +1 Level/Power/Etc is added! So let's see...1+1 1+1 2+1 2+1 1+1 1+1 +5=+(x19)! That's ALOT of Power! Trust me on this, KILL SHITLOADS OF HEARTLESS! Get Heart Points! Spend them on Keyblade form pannels and +1 Pannels(Expands total Pannel Compasity by 1)[It looks like a clear square going into a solid square with an arrow pointing down]
As for "Wah! I can't read Japanese...I don't know what to do!! KH 358/2 days is so simple, a monkey could...well mabie not...a WELL TRAINED MONKEY could figure it out!
As for HP restoing stuff...look for "??????????????????????? HP [[]] \%30(\%50, etc) ??????????????" Attack is most oftenly the top left number on the status screen, def is the top right.

Wow, jonasen, without Japan you wouldn't have most of these games, so obviously they make it in their native language first. Seriously, they don't HAVE to make a KH for the DS, we have to thank them by buying it.
On topic: I have a Cyclo DS, tested it out, works perfect, but I'm not going to play it. Waiting for the english release, because I love the story =D
This is a really great game and I think any fan of Kingdom Hearts should just download it and play it. I find it very easy to play through without having to understand Japanese though I wouldn't say it so easy that a monkey would be able to play it. It's easy to figure out enough but some of the more advance function could take some time to figure out such as how to pin things to the shortcut menu (to do that just go to the command you want and hold L for the shortcut and click the button you want to pin it to). You just have to pay attention to things and they provide alot of visual aid to assist you. You'll find yourself enjoying this game very much.

After you done the quiz head your way to the mansion place, before that place is a forest, what you want to look for here is a tree with falling leaves, if you find it hit it and you can proceed with the game

There's no point in playing this game, if you don't understand it.
Maybe I could get through the game easily by trial and error, but playing a game where I can't understand the story and dialogue is just...boring.

Even though Square Enix worked with Disney to make the Kingdom Hearts series (elevators ftw, KH was born in one) this is definatly not a "game for kids"
Even though some Disney characters make an appearance, as major or minor characters, the game is still mainly focused on Roxas, the nobody of Sora, who is the protagonist of the original KH game.
Don't write a game off just because you saw a disney character in a trailer >\_>

This is a really great game, it exceeds my expectations,(i'm playing it on my CycloDS) and well, i am looking forward on BUYING it for a change, heheheh, sparing a few dollars should really be worth a very good game. (I might be considering on taking Japanese lessons, kanji etc., so these (J) games won't bother me anymore in trial and error

Phew i just finished reading all the 102 comments and by reading everyones perspective, this games graphics and game play seem the best so i think ill download it only when i find the patch or ill wait for the engluifh version to come out.
The game has good graphics and uses the same battle system as KH1, only a little simpler.
You REALLY have to wait for the US version if you don't understand japanese to really enjoy the game.
nonetheless, I praise the beautiful graphics for a DS game, and a storyline that fans have been dying for.

Well this game is Very good but since its in japanese it does get VERY repetitive since all u do every day is missions and missons and on and on, although i reccomend it to everyone to get the feel of it and just play it.
Yes it does work on acekard2i and thats the card that i play it on, BUT to make it work on Acekard2i u need to go on kingdom hearts technical supp forum and go on page 31 (around that anyways) go to the link and Dl the Akaio firmware (akaio doesnt work on my acekard2i but the link by Gokuguy works perfect :) thanks gokuguy).
no you cant change the language to english and its VERY easy to play it without knowing what they're talking about except on DAY 74 (for that day when u see pence you have to answer questions in the order of 3,2,3 i think it was).

Disney characters are in this game, but you don't actually talk to any of them except for Tinkerbell, the three little kids in Halloween town, the cat from alice in wonderland, and the little devil dude from olympia....so yea your sorta hide from the disney characters...

This game is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! and totally worth the 200MB! KH fans will love it.
Gameplay doesn't incorporate the touch-screen much, it's a lot more like the controls on the PS2.
The English Version is meant to come out on the 29th September this year. I absolutely can't wait!
Sometimes, it freezes - mostly in the black transition screens when you load a game (after the days countdown animation) and when you go on a mission. And then it froze during multiple tries in Neverland. At that point in time, I was using an unpatched version. I've patched it now, and have yet to try it. Hope it works! XD

I'll support Mr. Enix and buy a copy just for the heck of it, but I'm still gunna play this one through and through. I really do love the 'mission mode' so far. Using each of the Organization characters' abilities is bliss. As for the japanese, anybody that's fully played through both final mix's shouldn't be too shocked ;D

MCboy110 this isn't khIII and there probably won't be. I think 358-2 and bbs are the last KH games and if they do make a KHIII then it will be in like 2-3 years
Kingdom Hearts 3 has been confirmed by Nomura (the creator) many times. He even said there would be hints in BBS about the game. They're going to start on KH3 as soon as BBS is done.

i've finished K.H358/2 (J) and (U) but how come when i try to use/buy oathkeeper (its called zero gear in (U) btw) it doesn't work? it just becomes the normal kingdom key you started off with... Any help?
I have the game in english on my ds.To me it's awesome but the graphics or quality looks to me not so good but everything else looks pretty good. (sorry for my english if somthing is spelled wrong)
