  • This rom is about 50mb smaller than the E version, so there is that. Not sure how the roms compare to each other trimmed, I'll find out when I finish the download.

  • Nevermind. both trimmed roms are exactly the same around 237mb. So I guess the only difference would be if you went online and looked for a local match would stay in north america.. maybe. meh.

  • A strong (maybe only) reason to pick one country over the other would be the cheats people have made for it so far. (E) has the least, (U) has the most people working on it, (J) is simply solid but it'll soon fall behind (U). Besides that I see no reason why one's better than another, no incredibly important reason outside card images

  • Well glad you all are enjoying it. =) Yea I decided to dump it, The differences I have seen so far are the GFX on the cards, the title screen, I DID notice they fixed a bug I had in the JP version, which was with the hair, I had blue hair, but mostly when I was in story mode, the top of the hair would turn white.

  • I haven't tried this version, but the European and the Japanese version don't work on my computer (I'm running DESmuME on a macbook). I'm able to get past the language selection and character name etc., but when I attempt to start the actual game, the error message: "unable to write data. please turn off the power and reinsert the game card" pops up. Any ideas?

  • The game does save. Im personally using it, before I switched out from the JP version I made sure of that. Im using a CycloDS tho. SO if your having issues, which cart are you using?



    Also as for the question on if JP save file works, I wanna say no, since it has alot of data like saving cards you download etc. So I do think the save files are different.

  • Is there a piracy protection? Because after the securilites detect Rally fr stealing and after you race that guy and win and go back tot he SUbway the others tell you to GO to the plant left of the duel runner shop and when i speak to that guy to challenge him to realease them, after the Paper, sissors, and rock, the game freezes.

  • Phongle I just got past the guy in the plant, No freeze on me. As for no$gba, not sure there. Maybe it needs patching for some of the other carts or so. I just know when I dumped it, worked on my cyclo.

  • I would get sent to the white page when trying to download, but i realized i had not activated my account. This fixed my problem. :)

  • Awesome, but it's REALLY hard and unforgiving, if you are not a Yu-Gi-Oh hardcore player, stay away, or your DS may end up on the nearest wall

  • Oh, and a really helpful tip!

    Instead of building a deck to counter the strategy of your current oponente everytime you get stuck, make a deck based on DIRECT LIFE POINTS DAMAGE, with cards like Stealth Bird etc... it doesn't matter what your opponent is, direct damage always works great... and stuff some stall cards like Messenger of Peace too, so you can gain time while your direct damage cards rape the opponent

  • Does anyone else have the problem of loading like in the middle of the duel? it takes so long for the computer to load and make a dicision! I use the arm7 fix to fix it so I can play on my R4i. TAKES MORE THEN 30 MINUTE TO FINISH ONE DUEL!!!! AND THE COMPUTER ARE SO FREAKIN HARD!!!!! ALSO THE CARDS THAT THEY GIVE ARE CRAP!!!!

  • The Game is good and you get to ride the Duel Runners but .... you cant get your cards you need to have the packs and the card.... thats what i dont like but everything is cool

  • Dozza yes it would work but if u r playing online then you wont be able to play online anymore and i think the reason y this rom isn't as much megabites is b/c it doesn't show related cards so u have to search for them which takes forever.

  • Hey this game is pretty solid and I am using the IDEAS emulator which works just fine but i just got to the racing part of the game and I don't know if it isn't working or what but my bike goes so damn slow that i keep failing the timed run... anyone else have that problem?

  • My saved data keeps getting erased and I'm not sure why, this is the second time I've signed back in to find all my hard work gone with only the option of "new game" avalible. I'm going to download the (E) version and I'll report back if that gives me trouble as well.

  • Nocash has been known to randomly delete saves, or at least not want to save the game.

    Check your save types (nds cartridge backup) usually eeprom64 kb or flash512 kb.
    Find the right one for your version of the game and make sure when you startup the game your settings are saved to the right one.

    Restart the emulation once thats all in order, if Nocash is working correctly you should be able to load.

    Darcas: Try looking for a walkthrough to confirm your problem ;p

    Those of you who can't download, check your browser settings, and left click the big yellow button which says download.
    You might be out of the points which romulation requires for you to download some of these files :) gl!

  • when I tried to play the game after extracting it was a .nds file so I tried to open it with yava there was an eror so I tried with flash player10 but nothing happened, so pls tell me with witch program do i open the game.

  • This game is a definite "yes" for AR codes.
    Not only is it tough if you're not a pro and feel as though you don't have the correct cards, but then there's the sneaking around part. The goddamn sneaking around!
    But it is a fun game.

    U guys need to change to nds backup media file or watsoever
    to the corresponding one....

    e.g. for megaman battle network double team. you need a

    flash 256kb instead of eeprom 8kb, 64kb

    otherwise u might not be able to save the game
    with a message "save failed"

    note - when you change the backup media file (remember to save setup)
    then only you 'reset' it

  • This is a good game. I never have a bug, Good graphics, Nice Starter cards.
    Turbo Duels are also fun.

  • best card graphics of any yu-gi-oh game i've seen so far, most cards, nice modes and racing to me is better then the need for speed games for nds. need for speed should stick to making games for big consoles they are much better at that. well i say this is one of the VERY few games i actually for nds simply because you can try out your stratagies for real world game play even thou they should have some sort of ban updated system so when they change the ban list you can actually use your real deck or at least for when you beat the game i dont like resorting to cheats but regardless they should find some way they always figure out stuff when they need it so hopefully they will other then that its better much what you'd expect from an awesome yu-gi-oh game...they also need to fix the free-roam and stick to gx cuz its fun till you beat it unlike gx where its all good always fun and sometimes hard much more packs in that one but obviously more cards in this one and harder to get money gx was longer you'd think ds would step it up i mean the psp is kinda dominating this thing lol dont get me wrong nds is fun but in comparason psp owned this like ps3 did to xbox 360 well play it you will most likely like it or at least enjoy it story line is annoying use a money cheat so you can actually get cards or else your stuck with that whimpy deck they give you that bites more then yusei's deck without all the cool combos he pulls off. good luck n has lotsa funvies

  • for the ppl that cant play on no$gba try going onto Options>Emulation Setup then change NDS Cartridge Backup Data to something else cant tell which cos im still downloading but most common are FLASH512Kbytes or EEPROM64Kbytes

  • I like the game and all, but I have an issue. During the game, I hear a constant buzzing sound with the music, it's really annoying. I use No$Gba, so does anyone know how to fix this issue?

  • Another good Yu-Gi-Oh! game this one has the completed card list of the Hero cards and tunner monsters are good cards to have to summon when you can't overall a game to play if you are board the only part that is really annoying is when you are in the building trying to recover you're duel runner and cards the designer of this game will pay for putting that in their otherwise it is a challenging and good time killer 4/5.
