Ahh very nice thanks for the upload. this is one turn based strategy game i've read quite abit about it. its similar to Disgaea DS
@Daxiz: Basically, an amalgation of shooter (dodging like scrolling shooters), turn-based strategy, and RPG. Look it up on IGN, they give a pretty good description, since it's rather unique. The story is about a wisp, who can reanimate dead soldiers to find out more about a battle. So you (the wisp) are the only one who can take damage on your team, but you use the soldiers to do attacks, with varying requirements and attack ranges on a grid where enemies are, while you dodge attacks like in a side or top scrolling shooter. I've been greatly anticipating its release :O Thanks romulation!

Awesome, out of boredom I started playing some rpg's I finished way back on the DS since 3 or so days ago. I was about to sleep but figured f\%ck it I'll check Romulation just incase, and yes, another night of no sleep stands before me x.x

Could someone please tell me what exactly sets this apart from the hordes of other SRPG's on the DS and PSP? There are so many of them, but for some reason people are raving over this one specifically.

Goddamn, the tutorial and tips sections are so damn long, @\_@...
Game is great, it's challenging, and very crisp. No stuttery frame rates whatsoever. Controls are kinda weird, but you'll get used to them. 9/10 so far.
For all those saying youll wait till kh comes out in english, have fun waiting till september. to be exact, at the end of september. its not hard to play it in japanese. hell im actually learning it while im playing rofl.

Great game. At the moment, I'm not really paying much attention to the story because I want to get to know the combat and such better but it's lots of fun. The MP charge reminds me of Big Bang Mini.
Shaymin: this is one game you cannot afford to skip the tutorial on. The play mechanics are pretty complex and like nothing I've ever seen before - yes, it's a LONG tutorial, but totally necessary. Once you get a hang of the controls you'll have a much easier time with a really fun game. Don't give up on it.
Wow. I LOVE this game. its SO deep and complex. finally a challenge on the ds! with all the story, recriutment, outside grinding, spectacular boss battles... i am so stoked everytime i play this game. kudos, atlas.

@psiredeye Very true indeed. Atlus is given way too much credit. They make a lot of bad games, and people just go on praising them. It's much like the Square complex from before. Where mass amounts of people would buy it solely based on the name of the company, and would tell other people how it was the 'best game ever'. I'm not sure If I would be considered 'weaboo', I mean I throw a Japanese word or two in conversations, but mainly those with myself. I call others 'baka', but that's about as far as it goes. I am somewhat obsessed with Japan, anime, manga, and it's culture. And I'm studying to learn Japanese. Anyways, I would have to say that the game just isn't for me. Mostly personal reasons, but I won't be able to try it out till I see my friend again, since I gave him my cycloDS Evo. And I'm most likely giving my DS away.
There this big building on the 401 heading to Toronto where I live called "BAKA" with a giant blue sign. First time I saw it I laughed my ass off and then had to explain to everyone why it was funny. They were like, "uh...yeah." But i love it. Then one of my friends had his Japanese gf down and when they passed it coming home from the airport she started laughing. I felt vindicated :)

This game sucks, it's confusing, little to no story, very complicated and casual unfriendly. The only + is the cool graphics.
The game is so good that I bought the Deluxe edition - you can't go wrong with Perfect game + art book + CD!

But god is this game satisfying. A unique blend of real-time, strategy, action, and rpg, this game has topped even my love for WEWY. This game though, unlike WEWY, is definitely not for everyone. I am more than halfway through the game now, and I love to simply kick back and kill some time on the leveling mode, which is about as casual as this game gets. The boss battles vary in enjoyment, and I understand, because it's hard to find a formula difficulty in a game that will produce a vastly different experience for everyone that plays it. But seriously, if you're even remotely interested in this game at all, give it a try. I give it 5/5 stars.

Oh my gosh! this is like wow! you play a usual strategy game then you get bored because of the lengthy linear gameplay. on the usual turn based strategy game, you order commands, wait for the unit to commence then wait once again for the enemy to finish their turn. in this game, you are more involved than issuing commands and waiting whatsoever. but still... only mature players can get a hold of this. so kiddos out there... beware... and also, those saying cheap stuffs about this game... hello! :) you are always free to express your selves. :D
This is only for gamers who know what a hard game is really like, this is not for whiners...really...
This is the freshest game to come to the DS since TWEWY. I dislike strategy RPG's generally, but the battle system here uses the DS better than any other touch based game in my opinion and the style/feel of the game is really unique and involving.
It is a really hard game however, not for the typical casual DS crowd.

The World Ends With You is totally different from Knights in the Nightmare in comparison... they're both good games though...
I hope there's a decent plot/story for Knights in the Knightmare. I'm usually more interested in the story aspect of a game, but so far, the battle system seems awesome!

For someone who posted before - the game works on 1.18 R4, I got past scene 2 with no problems.
This is a really fun game! The graphics are great, so is the storyline. It's really hard for me to understand the battle system though because it's really complicated.

I heard atlus had a new game called the devil survivor, I'm gonna try that when it comes out.
Nice graphics but pretty complicated gameplay, you def have to get used to the attacks and other gameplay features. After 2-3 hours I got tired to check it out. Works great on M3RealSakura.
This game has nie graphic but it dosent make the boom,bang or explode and this game is really complicated

This...Game...Is...AWESOME. Trust me. Once you get the hang of it, you can't put it down until you finished the game. Cool effects, enchanting soundtrack, revolutionary gameplay. The only drawback is the stupid tutorial, you'll end up much better learning to play without reading the tutorial at all.
The description of the game is wrong. It is only a tactical RPG. It has nothing to do with cards whatsoever or I just need to play it more to find out.
I keep hearing its awesome, but I want a game where its fun to play, and easy to get, - is it that confusing and is the gameplay really good? Hows it stand compared to others in its genre?

Your re-animated soldiers can still die, they have a vitality limit, and once thats been reached...they're immediately dispatched.
The issue I'm wondering about is: are the current recruited soldiers subject to an eternal death, like in Fire Emblem, if their vitality were to reach 0, or does it only apply to new people, who are yet to be recruited.
I know for a fact that the new characters you meet per stage will permanently DIE, if they are to fall in the current battle, however, I do not know if it also applies to current knights or other classes whom you've already recruited and carried over from the stage you acquired them at.

I'll admit it, I played because of the game creators. But hey, Sting makes some damn good games- storywise and gameplay-wise. I played through Yggdra Union again just for the story.

Beautiful artwork everywhere and really deep gameplay! Definitely not for someone looking for a casual fix or impatient people who don't want to sit though 500 different tutorials.
ok i'm confused because for some reason cthis doesnt work for my emu its a desmume0.9.4 and the game wont work for it.
amazing game! never have i seen a game with gameplay like this one. the wisp feature is rather interesting. this is definitely a game you should try out. i recommend you do the Teachings>First Steps tutorials before you start playing. any other tutorial is helpful as well.
