Whats this game about
Lux-Pain (Rukus-Pein) is a visual novel-type adventure developed by Killaware and published by Rising Star Games (European ver.). The US ver. (published by Ignition Ent.) has been out for months so there are plenty of reviews on the net.

Nice game although some jerk just cant find the excitement in the game
It's quite a good game I think, despite all the shitty translation, typos, allignment problems, etc. The battle is kind of...monotonous so it can be quite boring & not challenging. So, it's more suitable for those who only wants to finish the game ASAP with "okay" storyline ;D
I actually quite enjoyed this game. Not as good as Time Hollow and there are clearly translation issues which can be distracting, but if you can get over that and enjoy these kinds of games it's not bad.
This translation should be much better for the EU, since this version was published by Rising Star Games; the guys who got No More Heroes overseas.
Hmm, has anyone compared the two to see if the translations differed? I was curious to see if this one would be any better.
I believe that it's still the exact same translation. The programmers wrote up the publishing rights, and requested that all text translation and editing was handled in-house. Due to this, some of the translations are iffy, to say the least. Probably due to literal translation (IE- not taking grammar into account), but nobody really knows. Still, the dubbing is amazing, and if you're willing to ignore slight errors in the translation, then this is a great VN, well worth your time.
If you enjoyed Time Hollow, you won't enjoy this. It's not worth your time, to be honest. But hey, play it and see for yourself.
Yeah, I've played the US release and the dubbing is great. But the shoddy translation does get to me at times, though I'm not sure I'd still start the whole game over if they retranslated.
I love this game, It is a really good one, I finished it, But it has a sad story and ending.. ='(
So the text in the (E) and the (U) versions are the same? Great. I just lost hope.
I played the US version. It's alright but can get a little tedious cause of the overstretching of events and whatnot. But the ending kinda didn't end too well. It could've been better. Otherwise characters and plots are pretty good. (Miuns the translations) :)
