  • Unfortuntely this game is not out in english, and to be completely honest with you I have my doubts that it ever will be, despite how much I would love it.

    Also this game was previously released in Japanese, and it's taken them this long to get a Korean translation, so I imagine english is still a fair way off.

    gah played the jap version although I didnt understand a thing, I did come to a conclusion:-

    "Do NOT play the english version" this game just sucks....RO (PC) better..

    and this is a great RPG Game for the ds

  • 1st: There is a patch for english, but they quited it because it was announced to come in NA.

    2nd: MapleStory is never going to ds, nexon quitted it and hoped people would forget,

  • Well, RAGNAROK is a korean game.

    it's just that the DS version was first developed by Kungho works, which hosts the Japanese server

    Ragnarok Online is an MMORPG made for the PC by Gravity(no really, the company that made it).

    So the DS game is unsure because there have been no reports YET of online function.

  • Fyi to some of you who doubt this game is gonna be in english.... E3 announced that this game is going to be availiable to america in fall 2009... maybe in october... for some of you who are impatient there's a half english translated version already, and it was in "JAPANESE" (cough, cough) not korean.... the two languages are completely different... this happens to be the korean... and the other is japanese. just a heads up to some noobs though... for those of you who do know all of this already, much love...

  • For anyone who think the game sucks, well not so much.

    The Game has cool Wi-Fi Feature, and some cool stuff to pull up.

    And the game story was enough good.



    For those who can't wait, just search the uncompleted Eng Patch on GBATemp

    The Eng version will come out soon... probably end of year?

  • Ragnarök is Korean, if youplay with Sakray (original base software) you'll see korean caracters, not japonese.

    REALY hope a english version comes out, I tried it already and it's a good game, but can't undarstand a thing...TT\_TT

  • Yea I have experience with private RO servers too, it's obviously korean.

    I wanted to play this game in korean... but not even sure if I can anymore, no one even wants to fix this ROM.. :(

    I tried the Eng translated Jap ver. too - but the translation was obviously aborted after the eng ver. release announcement

    guess we'll have to wait for the eng release

    Have you guys played Ragnarok Online?(The Original one, not Private)

    All the Characters There are in Korean.

    But yes, Japan also made(Edited the Korean Version)one, called JRO(Japan Ragnarok Online)

    I love Korea :)

  • If you download the japanese vision than download the patch on google (search) than you can use.... but i'm still not very sure how to use it... trying it now...

    The guy(kohven something) is right about his comment(not the noob one, the first one). a-yo didn't cleared things up, rather he added to the confusion. This one and the MMORPG one are two different games. This one is developed for the purpose of a handheld and was developed on Japanese land and is published by Japanese as well(XSEED) and is not an MMO while the other one is indeed an MMORPG made by Koreans. I think he's making a point about the difference in the versions, and that the english translations will work for the (J) release and not the (K) release.



    Anyways I'm excited for this one, good thing I browsed again. I'm going to put a copy on my brother's DS so that we can explore together if there is indeed the 3-player multiplayer dungeon trip.

    Anyways the game is absolutely amazing. I played for hours on my first go and there's this thing called mirage tower that you can play wireless with your friends.

  • -.- you know if ppl said that they quited making ms on ds and now ppl are saing you cant make a ms homebrew for ds i think you all are wrong 2 years ago people said you couldnt make a ms private sever 18 years ago they said that it would NEVER be possible to make a screen that you cant touch and it would repond BUT look now also ragnork works on a bigger system then ms people need to STOP HOPING THAT MAPLE STORY DS WILL BE A WI-FI GAME AND JUST MAKE YOUR OWN OR WAIT
