  • I don't really liked this game, it's only one case you do and you're finished. I believe the other cases were from the original ones right? Or am i wrong because when I started the game, all stages are unlocked which is odd because original one, there's only 1 unlocked for the first time playing.

    & too much talking, I didn't like that.

  • For all of you who don't know a thing about Japanese games I'll give you some information about this game.

    The REAL name isn't Jake Hunter whatever but "Tantei Jinguuji Saburo DS: Inishie no Kioku" which translates to something like "Detective Saburo Jinguuji DS: Old Memories".

    The series started about 20 years ago with the Famicom (what you americans call NES) and it was developed by Data East (Tumblepop, Side Pocket) but since the company went out of business, all the rights were bought by Work Jam. The first game released by them was Innocent Black for the PS2.

    The series are still being developed mostly for cellphones in Japan. Those unlocked stories hiello604 mentioned are games taken from the cellphone version.



    Now, apart from the disgusting change of names of the characters and title (ala Gyakuten Saiban / Ace Attorney), I understand for the first american release of this game, many stories from the cellphone-to-DS Japanese version were removed.

  • Finally!!!! I've been waiting so long for this. Regardless of how bad some may say it is, i'll just enjoy the game as i have the previous one.

  • Looks like Ace Attorney series my favorite...(inspect=examine) Maybe this is a good game like my favorite. I will download it for sure.

  • I still prefer phoenix wright ace attorny game ... it's graphic is excellant and the conversation between the people are really funny too !!! There was a wonderful story line in the game itself . All of you should try phoenix wright series of games !!!!! IT ROCKS !!!!!

  • didnt play much yet but starts off much better than the first one! personally i found the first one rather short, cliche and dissapointing altho im probably qualityspoiled by Phoenix Wright and hotel dusk :D

  • well heres the deal: you can skip playing the first game dark chronicles alltogether basically since you >>can/have to replay all those exact cases in this game anyway<<
    this one has a much better setup of story and the unleashed and passwordsection is a lot more fun
