No, it's a puzzle game that you pop balloons on. It's been around for many many years. Pretty fun version!

its a "puzzle" game, its super adicting and super fun to play
you have to pop different colored spheres before they reach the bottom of the screen is really fun definetly download it. I give this game a 4/5

You're probably thinking of Bust-A-Groove, awesome little game on the PS1 about ten years ago :) one of the first "press the right button in time to the music" games
To be fair, Bust a Groove WAS called Bust a Move in Japan.

This game is great, now u can custimize the bubbles into flowers, planets, classic, and oh and if u get monsters, there is link in one of the bubbles! XD
This is the best Bust-A-Move game that I have ever played not just because it has an online mode but also it has boss battle's too.
(Luckily it gor rid of the slingshot method from the last DS Bust-A-Move game)
You guys are forgetting, this was an arcade room staple for a long time. I've wasted many a quarter at round table pizza to put in high scores. Just under Tetris on my list of favorite puzzlers.

Ah well bust a groove was called bust a move somewhere, so confused, this one is just like frozen bubble on mobile phones, or bubble bobble, meaning i must get it xD!

But Bust-a-Move has been out for a VERY LONG time.
Search on google for pictures if you are not sure.
It was originally an arcade game which adapted to more game systems.
Each round starts out with colored "bubbles" at the top.
You are given colored "bubbles".
The point of each round usually is to shoot your bubbles given at the bubbles above and match 3 of each colored bubble which disappears.
You need to make all the bubbles "pop" to win each round.
(note: that I suck at writing reviews but I wouldn't call this a review because it is too short so it is more of a short explanation of the gameplay)
They've taken bust a move and replace bub and bob(from bubble bobble) with chibi anime girls....what gives?

@rchuncleskel-eton They were not replaced, they're just randomly playable characters outside Story Mode. Story Mode still uses Bub and Bob.
I loved this game! This was my favorite arcade game way back in my childhood. I think I played it for PS1 (NO, NOT BUST-A-GROOVE)
It's quite cute and playable if you're bored, or if there aren't any other good RPG's out there to play. I play this when I don't feel like playing anything.
As long as this isn't touch screen only like the other Puzzle Bobble game on DS is, I'll love it!
Ah, Bust-A-Move (or Bubble-Bobble), I love this series. I still play it in our arcade whenever i can :D I recomend this 100 %
