  • Not much to see here, unless you're curious of course. Sega took a while to bring this to Japan.

  • the one that American create? that Bioware create for SEGA?
    huh... that's a dissapoint...

  • I'm guessing the plot won't make any less sense than it did in the original English-language version, but 1-to-1 odds say that Rouge the Bat will be 5 times more whiny and annoying than she was originally, given how Japan treats female characters.

At least Japan got better boxart, focusing more on established characters than in Bioware's unimaginative female fan character.

  • This only proves an unspoken point that most gamers know: If a game is first made in the US, it is 80% likely it will be a let-down.

Although its just my opinion. I didnt enjoy the US version.

  • I wouldn't recommend downloading this game, and I am someone who is easily amused by crappy games. The plot didn't make sense, the leveling-up system was dull, and the "interaction touch-screen combos" only consists of three main actions repeated over and over again (two of which are pretty similar since they both involve tapping the screen).

What the game lacks in gameplay and plot, it makes up with fan-service. You see the return of classic enemies such as the Swatbots we saw in the SatAM cartoon and learn of the origins of the Echinda Clan and even see Gizoids (from Sonic Battle) as well. But does it make this game good? No.

Aside from that, programming was put together very poorly and errors can be seen everywhere. This game, to put it nicely, seemed like it was released countless months ahead of what it should've been; kids with an RPG Maker program could do better. I don't know who BioWare is, but it is my personal theory that SEGA put this company together to make Sonic Team look good (and compared to Sonic Heroes or Sonic 360, those games are gold when they stand next to this DS spinoff).

If you want interactive touch-screen based RPG battles and a memorable plot, look to Mario & Luigi.

  • The_RS, you've never heard of Bioware? As in makers of Mass Effect, KOTOR, The Old Republic, Baldur's Gate etc.

It's a pretty long esteemed list. Which is why this game is/was a REAL disappointment.

  • Is this the sequel to "Sonic Chronicles: The Dark Brotherhood"?

  • US game was... okay...
Not exciting, just repetitive touch patterns that are used to battle.

Not even going to try on this one.

And yes. This is the sequel.
