Ok for all of the people who don't know. IT A SUPER ROBOT TAISEN GAME YEAH!!!!!!!!!!! But its kind of wierd but you have to see it for your self. I mean from the trailer it looks like a must have for any SRT fan. But there that whole overworld pokemon type thing. I don't know but I am downloading it. Oh heres the youtube 4 min trailer

For those wondering why Atlus doesn't pay royalties, well it's because they're a tiny North American localization firm of a mid-sized Japanese company. They've had plenty games sell hundreds of copies before (not thousands, or hundred thousands), so they don't have the cash flow to pay so much for what is a niche game. I'm actually kind of surprised they're still around, part of me thinks it's because the games they localize are likely bought in bundles for cheap prices.

it's a shame that these games are possibly not going to be translated ever. I already played it and it works for me, by the way Im using the NO$GBA zoomer included in WinDS Pro.

about gameplay, its very similar to pokemon instead you use super robots, but somehow it lacks the fast paced combat of a SRW game. there is a lot of time between each attack, so you get bored. I did not finish the first combat scene, just because a needed another turn to win and I was already bored.

kesadisan- I know what you mean and I agree but that is not the case with SRT series

I cant describe it too good, but I know that unless it is composed of original charaters ONLY, it cannot be translated outside Japan

Because various companies own rights to Mazinger Z or Gundam SEED etc, to use them in a game means translators must not only pay for BANPRESTO's original character, but all of the robots in the roster (otherwise the game cannot be published as deleted characters would mean violation)

There are usually more than 10 different robots in a typical SRT game, and having to gain permission and pay for all of them is just not possible AND too expensive

Because they are not allowed to miss out ANY of the robots, this is why it hasn't been translated EVER.

The only ones that could BE translated are the OG series with Banpresto ORIGINAL characters ONLY. And they did.

Super Robot Wars games just tend to be easy enough to understand by using trial and error to be playable

Not to mention, most of their games sell thousands and not hundreds...

Sorry, but the best hope we have is that maybe we'll get a fan-translation, though I'd be more than happy with a translation of just the menus, and maybe attacks, mechs, stuff like that. Just the bare minimum to play through, nothing special, y'know? There's no chance we'll get this in the US -- the copyright problems with 30-something mech series are a bit ridiculous.
