Man if someone can translate it he will be my god. I want a long time to find a game like that, but I don't speak jap... So if you can or know someone who can that would be very cool. But why japanese don't translate ALL their game they would make big money, no?
You're right, it would be really nice if someone would only translate it. I've seen the trailer and it looks awsome, perhaps it may be the best dating sim to ever hit the DS.
If only i can read Japanese....
But then again, there is always some other games that have some similar properties with dating sims, you know, like luminus arc 1&2, Harvest Moon (all of them)(i love Lumina) or rune factory 1&2 (my personal favorates). If this game never gets translated, then i guess i'll just wait for the next HM and RF to be released.
If possible would someone please translate it? i would be really grateful due to the fact that i am an anti-social person in real life, i would enjoy living in virtual reallity. When i say anti-social, i mean almost everyone hates me and i can never get a girl (not that i ever care).

anywho, this game looks amazing - one of the best LOOKING dating sims I've seen on the DS so far. I'm going to have to try it, even though I don't speak a word of Japanese, I just have to see this up close. Such a shame though, trying to play dialogue-based games not being able to read, lol. But, c'est a vie right? Because we ALL know this will never, ever be translated (at least officially).

Mmm looks interesting, too bad i only can read hiragana and katakana so i would only understand like a 0.02 % of the game because in the kanji department i totally suck(i have only learned like 10,so 1900 more off to go XD) but still i will give it a try.
a fan translation is unlikely. This game boasts over 5000 pieces of separate dialogue and options. I would be a pretty grand undertaking.

well, @ mazongo, i feel the same, im in friggin level 6 national, wich means i only know how to read hiragana, katakana, adn about 500 words and structures, so yeah, it sucks, but ill download anyways, @buchichu, well, its not THAT hard, you can see games like soma bringer, wich have 50 hours of gameplay and it got translated, at least most part of it, or you could take the guys from mirror moon, to name just ONE graphic novel translaters, they did a great job with fate and tsukihime, specially with tsukihime, 'cause it have about 8 totally different paths, so if you want this game translated, youll have to wait if the game succedes, and then, an even longer wait for it to be translated, cause believe me, it takes a loooooong time to translate this kind of games, which needs also programing matters... so yeah, could someone translate it, preety please?^_^
looks impossible for an amateur translator to give this a shot
normally many word don't fit on screen, make it hard to just modify the script
moreover the game compiles with dub, make it harder do be translated, 'cause the script overflowing can interfere with dub... (Check out Prof Layton undubbing case)
for me, this game maybe if there's just very crazy group want to distribute this to English ver, I'm sure it will be hot!
I'm a girl and I kinda want to play this. I wonder if you can make them angry or how much you can mess with them. I know in Harvest Moon I made this girl fall in love with me and then married someone else, but I would continue to give her gifts. At one point she even threatened me XD They probably don't though since if there is a way to piss off a girl, a guy will find it XP
Fortunately, I do know enough Japanese that I could understand most of it. I understood 80% of 358/2 Days so it might not be too difficult.
*sigh* I wish someone would translate games to english -.- I am not english myself, but I do read it much better than japanese... I is a pity there are almost no english(spoken, because their origin would probably be in Japan) dating games that are as good as the japanese :( although I liked harvest moon ^-^

knowing Japanese to play all the great games... is so cool :) its like japanese lesson advence. if you try to understad japenese download My Japanese Coach and give it a go ;)
Japanese Coach is a good way but the set up isnt that great i cant get pass the writting part and i need that to move on. i think they should focus on the learning to speak it and read it and at the end teach ya how to write it than ploping the writting part in the middle when you just start to learn dates and months. but back to the topic i wish all japanese games would be ported but the problem is that it cost a mess load of money to translate and re-code it and ship it. thats manly why the US or any where else tends to get the main stream games translated because they know that they will sell. plus its a risk when translating games cuz a game that may sell in one place may bomb in another basicly its a money issue.

too bad there is no sankaku kankei, as soon as you get a girl, the other two completely dissappear from the game forever.

@earljohn Are you sure that there will be an Europe version of this? O; and to @hello: indeed, I've only seen one pure dating sim game: The Sims 2 XD. Seriously, the others such as HM or such are half dating and I do not quite like that. Japan is the only place where you have pure dating sim games O:
@aznsilvery, i totally agree with you... Europe and USA don't make Sim-dating games...Japan is the only country which makes it and it's a bummer that we don't know how to read Japanese

I am trying this game, the first part of getting the girl is not difficult. It is the second part where it really tests how observant you are and how nimble your fingers are to solicit a good kiss from the girl... Well, who says this game is good for anti-social people? By the way, a friend of mine who does not know Japanese is also trying it and he seems to be getting the hang out of it, with the help of the wiki occasionally. No harm trying it, I think.
Translation is 12% compleated as for now.

And yes, I do not find it at all odd to these kind of games, even though I'm a girl. It is a game. And after seeing the trailer, an interesting one. Is it really a real time simulation?? What I gathered from the promo, the scenes should change depending on the season, but does this apply to the time of the day too? Most of my playing occurs around midnight and it would be a shame for the girls to be sleepy then, lol.
I've been playing it for a while now. My limited Japanese reading ability hinders me from understanding conversations... But... I am enjoying it a lot. <.< I am trying to bribe my friend in Tokyo to buy and send me an official cart for Christmas. :P One of the few games I really want to have a physical copy of.
Someone mentioned My Japanese Coach, the writing parts are actually REAL easy. But you have to practice OUTSIDE of the game. Go online and get a reference sheet for the kana. Hiragana and Katakana are simple to learn it just takes practice. Remember your learning a new form of writing. Just like when you were in 1st and 2nd grade, your learning how to express words on paper for the first time in Japanese. Having few simple Japanese games around and such is a good idea. But seriously. がんばって！ (ganbatte! Do your best)
@Ema-Tan: The game's beginning is in standard date sim fashion, no real time mode. After getting one of the girls to confess her feelings for you, you save watch the credits roll and then start again with the same save to experiance the meat and potatoes of this fantastic game. My playing happens around midnight a lot too, but thats not too bad as there is both Real time mode and skip mode. RTM lets you play as you would in real life, if it is a school day you will be in school, and such you can text and call the girl and all sorts of fun stuff. You can even call her out to meet you somewhere to hang out. If your in school at the time she may refuse if she is in a class but she may accept and you can go somewhere on the school grounds. (my fav bein at the big tree :D ) In Skip Mode, you go day by day as before and can setup dates for sundays. A 日 will be displayed for the day. Top DS screen upper left. it will be light orange colored and not black like normal. All in all it is a great game, even if you only know rudimentary Japanese. Gameplay is greatly enhanced by having some Japanese language skills and having a good level of reading ability will make it all the better to understand what the girl and yourself may be talking about. :D
there should be a boys version! it's kinda weird you know for girl playing girls simulation..
well since there is a rtm,and you can go to school or sort of...hehehe...i'm home school so i dunno the fun and the joy of highschool...hopefully in this game i find some joy of highschool...
Yo, I looked at some vids for this game on Kotaku and it looks like it's DSi enhanced. The video shows some dude picking out a wedding dress with the virtual girl. Man these Jap games a weird
