Been waiting for this game! Dirt 2 for the PC won't be coming out until December because of DirectX11, so I get to play it on the DS in the mean time.

It's not a bad game at all, later on there is a nice sensation of speed. The handling is very good too. The only downside IMO apart from not having any story mode tying Career Mode together is the music which is rubbish. Turning off the music solved that!
Great game. Why didn't we get the first game. Man, makes me wish we had it to compare to this one.
Alright, I've just submitted two screenshots in .png format, one of the car menu, where you choose what vehicle to use and has the options to customize said vehicle, and one of gameplay.
Off the bat, it feels well-polished. Great graphics, decent sound (at least in the menus), and good-looking track graphics. You can race by yourself with up to 5 AI drivers, or compete using Multi- or Single-Card Play. There's also a built-in track creator/modifier. I got all this info from trying it out. Definitely worth a download, and if you're a fan of racing games, probably worth a buy. Hope this answers most future questions!
Oh, and it doesn't play too well on an emulator. Slows it down. Best to try on some real hardware.
Good game with responsive controls. Graphics are nice for a ds driving game. The bg music is a bit annoying for me so i turned it off. The bumper cam angle is a bit to low also. Would recommend if you like racing games though.

all I can say, they use the same engine on other Codemasters game, NFS Undercover, and Trackmania DS
because the engine IS THAT GOOD...

"Mini Ninjas" has the same problem as well.
The game is ok. The gameplay is easy, just like the same thing as Grid except its in the rally. Graphics doesn't matter, its alright. Music is ok. Overall i recommend this game a try.

I'm not that into racing games besides mario kart but I wanted to check this out and I was pleased to hear a MSTRKRFT song on the title screen....wow!!! When I played it tho it was ok I guess....the engine doesn't roar or anything...
However my nephew will def. love this game, he likes racing games.

This is a very good game, but there are cons
Cons:
1. terrible physics engine and the cars really dont slide that well
2. car contact is bad when you accidentally almost touch the car
3. the game is not that long, i got the game yesterday, and ive completed all challenges on amateur and purchased every car with all liverys in 4 hours of game play
4. there is a lag from the count down to race start, as in you can rev all the way up during the countdown and once the race starts there is a split second lag, and your car starts at 0 rpm
5. the stunt mode isnt very good
6. there is a lack of variety of music
7. my speedometer says 151 mph, but it fells like im going 80 at the most
8. no lancia delta or statos (not that big of a con but i love those cars)
9. no wi-fi play
despite the cons there are pros which definately makes up for the cons
pros:
1. the graphics are amazing for a ds racing game
2. its the first rally game that ive seen for ds and it is good
3. the racing is challenging
4. the music is full songs, not clips like in nfs undercover and carbon
5. there is a nice variety of cars
6. the tracks are nicely done
7. there is damage which adds some challenge
8. the gate crash mode is a new challenge and makes you utilize technique and skill along with speed
9. the track creator mode
10. multi-card multiplay AND single card play
so despite a few cons this is still a really fun game and i would definately recomend this to anyone who likes racing games and is a great preview for those who have to wait til december for the pc version

Great game but if i go to choose the second buggy it says debug error out of ram :/ (probably my cause im using firecard)
really enjoyable game. although i cant work out how to do the long jumps...lol, i would give this game a 9/10.
the graphics on this game are awesome for a DS compared to some others it is a great game to play

i dont like race car games on the ds. but i downloaded this game and i loved it. i went on a school trip the other day and i played single card play with 3 others. you get to pick 3 tracks but you can not pick your car in single card play. it is one of my fav games now and it is AWESOME.........get the game now
