Quite fun to play, All enemies are fought it real time. There's no lag and the graphics are really smooth. Implements an Exp system enabling level up..

It's quite interesting when you get into it, but the only problem is the saving.. You have to wait till in between chapters before you can save or if you can find a mage tengu.. So progress lose after getting far is a pain...

Overall I'd say it's a good, new, authentic game.. I'd recommend this if you're looking for something different.

The game seems to be very fun though the camera is a pain... I wish it could be moved around with R and L like in other games but you have to press and hold L, place the camera, and then move. The save system is not good for short sessions play like i do. It's sad because the game looks like a zelda with level ups and with a ninja (which can perform moves like Prince of Persia - run on walls) and it's got multiple characters too, which is VERY COOL! It's worth a try. I'll just continue to play to see if it's worth a buy.

PLayed it a bit, half done in chapter 2 and i gotta say it's neatly done
but the control pad is a tad wierd at times, like when you're going up and you wanna turn left or right you just keep on going up and don't turn
and i'm sure we all don't like it when we can only save after the chapters or half done the chapters because there are these bird sages that let you save if you fail your mission and can go back

So far so good. The graphics are decent for a 3-D ds game, reminds me of ocarina of time graphics (sort of)

I'm also having trouble with the D-pad. Sometimes your ninja just doesn't turn when you want him to. Its a little annoying but hopefully something I can get used to.

It seems like a fun cute game so I will def. continue playing it. (I have an R4 and it works perfectly fine, I played through a couple chapters with no freezing)

if you don't mind the endless backtracking and the fact that you always have to play for at least 30 minutes due to the save system, then this is a great game. it has got lego humour and great graphics. but i gave it a pass because it is a relatively slow game

I was having issues with saving too - I don't recall any Tengu Mages giving me the option but I'll look closer. Also - to whoever was having control issues moving about - the L button will straighten your view out and make it easier to navigate.

this is a horrible game. especially with it's control. when you go up then right, then up, then right/left again, it wont turn, it will just keep on running.

Great game, the controls take a little bit of getting used to but nothing major. As for the saving issues, Mage Tengu will save the game, as well as in between chapters, and while I will admit this is slightly annoying, it's not a great deal.

The game is fun to play, levels up in real time battles with experience, there are occasional side quests to get extra items and experience as well.

The music is alright if a little repetitive and the graphics are well done.

I recommend at least giving this game a fair shot yourself though as it really is a good game.

I thought this game was for the new gen consoles...seems that I was wrong about that.
Will try the game. By the looks of the screenshots, it's a 3d platformer, and I kind of hate the camera controls for most of those 3d games on the DS.

Despite the people lambasting over the controls, the only problem is the camera. The graphics and cinematics were something most people would like on a DS platform. If you don't mind 30 minutes of gameplay just to save, if not, then you just have to endure.

With the first spirit plane you just paint the lines that are a bit darker than the background. Then once you have done that a picture should form. Then use the object next to the paint icon to cut out something in the background.

To beat Lumbering Foot, his weak point is his chest but first you have to disable him...

This game is fun and very ambitious. The camera can get in the way and the draw distance is kind short. So far, everything has been good. Worth a play through. The game mechanics are pretty sweet.

WOW! *pinch self to check if dreaming* this game is AWESOME! I fully recommend it. About what people are with the controls: the camera after a while is easy to get used to, I'm up to chapter 6 and i have no prob with it. the walking, trying to turn left or right and only going straight rarely happens.

I never get sick of hearing a samurai shouting "NIIIIINJAAA!" as he charges you.

and to finalmario, try wall running. run at the wall on an angle and jump into it.

I got rid of it only because of that damn save system. I never would play for 30 minutes unless it was addicting, like desktop defense etc.

the game itself is good but the controls sometimes go funny.

I didn't get past the first chapter since I usually dont play as long as I have to do a chapter in this.

but the screens make it look awesome...
but I can't be bothered to go over the tutorial again.

Ok everyone I figured out the first plane of spirit drawing thing....You have to hold your hand steady when you draw and make sure you paint/draw slow and right on top of the lines then ...bingo!

A very good game but quite short as i completed it in 7 hours (and i'm just 10 years old!!!). Love fighting the samurais and running along the walls. The saving is not much of a problem to me but trying to find the bosses(where they hide) is quite tiresome. Overall i give this a 9.5/10.

To anyone who has trouble defeating the 1st boss, go to the 2nd level and throw shurikens at his head. Then he will fall to the ground and something will come out of his body. Go down and keep whacking the "something" until he stands up again. From then on,repeat everything i just posted.
