Tamim94 Of course it is in Japanese as they will always receive them before us. You can not change the language to English, it has always been like that with Pokemon games. The US versions are due out Spring 2010 so you will just have to wait.

Thanks heaps Romulation, I don't think much needs to be said on this as it is quite obvious to most people what the game is about. I hope everyone enjoys.

The American and European versions of HGSS will probably appear in half a year or something like this. Nintendo always needs so long.
But you can use your Japanese savegame for the translated versions as well. So you can start playing now and then just rename the savegame.

I think most of you played the original version for Game Boy Color? If yes, then on the whole you should understand the most parts. There is not so much new - at least until the part I played so far.

im using my dsi its kinda weird cuz dsi is not region free .
adn im pretty sure i bought it at a toys-russ in new york :P

Who needs to translate. Just play the original on VBA and play along. The game hasn't been changed all that much. I'm already at my third gym and I've only had it for two hours.

this is great the patches work fine (i have the main parts in english) no freezing yet!

now just to wait for a kind and noble soul to get a patch that completely translate the story or at the very least change the key text ie: where to go next (its been some time since i've played the story lol)
