  • This is not really like the IL-2 Sturmovik on the computer.I dont like it

  • on a notible bases asd789 is actually correct. This one has a low quality yet it is the best bacause flying games always use alot of ram and the nds is limited to ram usage

  • this game is ok for a ds flying simulation. i think that spitfire heros tales of the royal airforce is a much better ds flying sim. doesn't have as many lvls but it is funner

    I've never been a big fan of flight sims on the DS simply because of the lack of buttons/controls available. And this game is no exception.

    I am used to PC flight sims where you have full control of the yoke, rudder and ailerons but, since we are limited by the DS controls, you have to compensate. It would have been nice if the dev's could have used the shoulder buttons to simulate the rudder controls, but they didn't...which makes this a very arcade-y sim.

    The missions are somewhat decent, but lack challenge and depth. Most of the time I was able to shoot down all enemy fighters without even a scratch on my plane. And the bombing missions are just flat out horrible. With little frame of reference, it's almost impossible to bomb without diving towards your target.

    I don't give ratings for games because it's simply a number, it means nothing. My opinion on this game, however, is try it. It's OK, but I don't think the DS is a good platform for flight sims. Perhaps another dev will come along and prove me wrong, but I certainly won't hold my breath.

  • I must say as far as flying games go on DS this is up there with the best. (but then again there isnt many notable ones which are out and out brilliant) so i say try it. We all have our opinions and its up to you to make your own not to read these and say 'Oh everyone says it's bad im not going to download it'

  • The only one that's even good that Exists, at least, is Jet Impulse. It's a VERY underrated DS game, personally. It's also one of the best flight action games Nintendo has to offer.
