    this is the best cooking mama for ds and I noticed right away it strangly had better and smoother controls then cokking mama 1 or 2

  • The title reminds me of the Dead Rising Wii game: Chop Till You Drop.

  • It seems a little harder than the first two. Looks great and is not disappointing in the least *coughGardeningMamacough*. It might just be my stylus, but the control isn't as smooth as I'd want it to be. So many bronze medal results....

  • The game is fun, like always, though i have to admit that I can't get into the shopping mini-game. Dealing with "EAT AS MUCH AS YOU CAN!!!!11!!one!!two" and "THAT WAS FRESH FISH!" constantly gets very annoying very quickly.

    Still, the Chop part of Shop & Chop stays as fun as the previous two.

    This is a good game...but i don't like the slicing meat part that much because you cant slice the meat faster in CM2.I give this game a 9/10 rating. Works...on my R4 III clone well.

  • hey i download this game on my r4 but everytime i click on the game it says save data can not be accessed. what do i do?

    you might have the problem i had a LONG tyime ago (yesterday)
    some people have an lder version of r4 files. you have to get a newer edition of the DISK and copy the newer files over to your r4.
    although, only try this if you cant access a lot of games.
    seriously, i couldnt play 9 out of 10 games i added.
    if its just this game, then i cant help you... sorry!

  • thanks for cooking mama3 romulation. got it yesterday, and i think its a good game, loads of new recipes with the added bonus of a 'ready, steady, cook' (uk cooking show) element to it - matching random ingredients together to create a new dish and the shopping element....which i thought got a bit annoying after a while, i seem to keep bumping into the old lady and the free sample guy...i'll give it 9/10...keep up the good work romulation!!

  • Just update your firmware then. I got v 1.25 on my r4 hcsd and it works perfectly, as do all the other games I've got recently. Don't get a new flash card, its a waste of a fine card that you already have...

    This game is alot harder than the other two, but thats definately a good thing.
    I like the way things move while you try to put things in them haha. And the random addition of bones in recipes haha.

    Oh.. and did anyone notice that when you get a perfect, Mama says "Incredible! P*verts impressed!" The first word may not be the right one, but it definately sounds wrong...

    However,the cooking mama idea is getting repetitive,but still fun.

  • I absolutely loved Cooking Mama 1 and am playing Cooking Mama 2 (but I don't like it as much because of the terrible voices after each cooking activity.. Terrific! got very annoying after a while). Cooking Mama looks good, with great graphics as usual in the cooking activities. I just wish the shopping part had a little better graphics, but oh well.

  • give it a try,although you don't actually get to shop in this game.It's actually a minigame sort of function in which you walk around this 2D map,collecting several items on your shopping list.

  • Wow, this one looks cool. Just like the first two cooking mama's. They are really good for when you have nothing else to play.

    But anyway cooking mama 3 is probaly better than the others.

    Also there was a gardening mama which was alright(I like the cooking ones better).

  • I'm enjoying this very much so far, as well as my young sisters, too.

    Cooking Mama 3 seems to me one of the better entries in the series, with more actions, better animations, inclusion of Mix and Match (which the second game lacks), as well as the shopping mini-game for a nice distraction from cooking.

  • i never liked how it didnt always explain clearly enough what you have to do. then it take you multiple tries to get exactly what ur doing wrong.
    in this game its alot easier to get it.
    this is a really great game, now that that is fixed!
