I saw this game on gamespot. It's basically a battlefront for DS, which means that now you can play it on portable, and with online features, you can play with your friends using Wi-fi! This is definately a game that i want to try out. I recommend it for battlefront and battlefront II players.
Nighthawk, you're wrong. This isn't anything like the Battlefront games. It's virtually identical to the Jedi Alliance game, which isn't a good thing in my opinion.
so is it any good? i did like the battlefront games a LOT but if its not like it i don't really want it....all in all though i hope it's good!

No, it's nothing like battlefront. That's coming out in November. But I actually like this game better than Jedi Alliance. The addition of the clone troopers makes it a lot better.
Yeah, the Battlefront like Star Wars game for the DS will be called Elite Squadron (It's coming out for DS and PSP in November). Republic Heroes is basically the sequel to the game Jedi Alliance.
So this is similar to "Jedi Academy" on the PC? What about a Single-player storyline? That would be nice. I really don`t like the Battlefront-Games,that you only could enjoy in multiplayer-mode. Can someone post a short review, after playing a couple of hours? Thanks a lot.

It doesn't look bad... apparently everyone said it was horrible.

This game is not even related to battlefront (nor was it intended to be close to battlefront).. they ARE making a battlefront game (Star Wars Battlefront :Elite Squadron) but thats not gonna be out for a while.. this is based off the lame cartoon..
meh, i've seen Star Wars Battlefront :Elite Squadron screenshots. i am VERY disappointed, its not even a third person or a first person. it's like lord of the rings on DS. it's a bird's eye view

This is another StarWars Clone Wars, all the characters are in 3D.
Sequel of the first one, in here you fight more then usual, your really in the war now instead of going true mazes and fight mystic womens.
I prefer Battlefront that is coming soon
This game works perfectly on my R4i for the DSI.
Its an average game.
Tiny graphics will hurt your head.
Contorols are awful.
BUT
It delivers a nice singleplayer with lots of unlockables and characters.
I've deleted it though. it Really hurt mai head.

If you like star wars, and liked the last game.
This one is a tenfold improvement.
That being said. It still needs work. Helluva fun game though.
Heres hoping the third installment is even better.
This game sucks. Horrible controls and a horrible plot add up to one the worst star wars games in existence. Very bad. Definitely don't recommend,even for the hardcore Star Wars fan (Like myself)
Just wait for the new battlefront. A REAL star wars game and not this ridiculous animated crap.

Although I would have to say this is a belated comment, I apologize to all of you who were confused by my comment of this game being a battlefront for the DS. I actually got it mixed up with star wars elite squadron, which, at the time I am entering this comment, comes out in two days. Sorry again, and thanks to BlueMeanie for correcting me.
