  • I have been waiting for this game. The sim animals was awesome and i have checked this out on ign.com before i downloaded it and now im playing it and so far its awesome

  • Isabel, there is a language selection menu the first time you start the game. You can either:
    A. Delete the save data and try again.
    B. Go to the options menu and change the language by selecting a flag from the list.

  • I just watched the trailer and I thought the game looked really good and then I found out that it was the game for the wii that I liked so much though the ds doesn't look bad either. Perhaps I'm just going to download it and give it a try

  • its the exact same as sim animals, but its envirment and animals are based on africa so its more of an addon.
    @master12: why would you ask? Of course it has more then a bird.
    @danv: yes I agree. The game is overall game is good, but the graphics are 2-d so...ya.
    I thnk that if you haven't played the first don't play the africa version yet.

  • It took me about 30-50 minutes to finish, its not that long but it kept me entertained for those few minutes. Im not recommending this to anyone looking for a good long game to sit down and play because it gets boring pretty fast after youve got the final animal. i would give it a 2/5 as i like sim games but it was too short to really be one of those ever-lasting sim games most sim-players are after. I would recommend Zoo Tycoon 2 instead.

    (dont let my comment discourage you from downloading this game as its free and it doesnt hurt to try it out.)

  • Overall, the game is good. It's nice to play, you got different goals that you can achieve. But you can finish it very quickly, and that's a thing I don't like. The 'normal' Sim Animals had a longer story mode, because it would take longer to finish it.
    But the controls áre better, the graphics are better, the animals look good and they added some realy nice things. It's a nice game, but quickly finished.

    But, download it, and see for yourself.

  • When I downloaded this game the intial name is in Japanese. Then it freezes on the language screen and I can't go any further. This is on R4.

    It is in English... USA version. You need to find an (E) version, which hasn't come out yet.

    I agree with everyone's comments- the game, just like the first one, is a quick one to finish, and very boring once you are done. But the animals look good, anyways... what's next.. SimAnimals Marine Mania (the parallel of Zoo Tycoon Marine Mania on the PC..)? SimAnimals Australia? With kangaroos and wallabies?

    Have fun with it, just play and be done with it after barely an hour.

    I don't know what you mean by the language screen, but only the title is in Japanese. The game itself is in English and some European languages, like French.
