Kids game.
Tested and runs ok on acecard, cycloDS and (H)R4i, but with older kernels it does have a little graphics issue. It doesn't freeze as far as we found out.

looks like a nice game. lucky i have a cyclods. it is worth the investment although it is more expensive. no need to worry about whether can play or not. going to download it when i reach home.

I tried with the japanese save file, but it doesn't recognize it. They probably changed something regarding money - the J version has yens while the european one uses euros

I used a save from NO$GBA, for some reason you need to have the sound on for the emulator to get past the title screen. Got past the 4th customer and converted the NO$ save to Cyclo format and used that. The game now works fine pleased

ya i saved it fine on no$ itself, but as others have stated. its unplayable on the ds atm. at least until a patch comes out

if ever you played WAGAMAMA FASHION GIRL MODE
you will know that the customers only buys items from you then leave without wearing it
in STYLE BOUTIQUE, they will wear your items ar\after buying
the hairstylist even wore the item I sold her

This patch apparently is in chinese.
Steps:
1. Unrar
2. Open the program (Leaf icon)
3. Once opened, there will be 2 buttons at the bottom, click the RIGHT hand one.
4. Select your STYLE BOUTIQUE ROM
5. Exit program
6. Load the rom onto your memory card
7. Enjoy!

Someone was wondering (in Dutch, but I'll be kind enough to the rest of the world to answer in English, since those are simply the terms of this site) why more and more games are freezing. I think Nintendo does that on purpose to stop piracy. However... I think there will always be people that are one step ahead of those measures! Bless those people!

I don't think it works with me, I click on the rom and then it makes a noise like a 'problem' noise, and the rom doesn't change.
boobledeeboo, did a message box appear? If yes, just click on the confirmation button. It's probably saying that the fix was done.
This happened to me. I thought it was an error message, but it wasn't.
Try to see if the rom's working. ;)
Okayy, i'll give it a go. Yeah, a message box appeared, but it doesn't look like it changed the rom or anything happened. Maybe it did though :) cheers anyway.

wahhh! I finally can play this game now thanks to the patch (Y)^___^(Y) I had to resort to playing Wagamama Fashion Girls mode which was pretty hard >.> i realised that this file size is way bigger than the Jap one. Style Boutique - 256 mb D: Wagamama Fashion Girls Mode - 128 mb
I also realised that on the Jap one, all the places that you can go are Pink coloured whereas for Style Boutique, the places are marked different colours ^^" I kinda liked it being all Pink. (more girly! Teehee ^w^)

The only thing I dislike about this game is that there is no option to turn it into left hand mode - and it's annoying since my left hand blocks the customers information :( Have to get strategic with my arm now LOL

The game is amazing. I can play this for hours! Great graphics, considering it's the DS, and although the music options are a little strange, all in all the gameplay is fantastic. The game can get a little old at times, but it's always fun to dress someone up.

I have the R4 with the latest firmware and regular DS. The game seems to work completely fine - BUT in my opinion the game sux. It's actually annoying to play. Although, yes, it works fine (aka doesn't freeze)

When I download these games they're downloading as rar files instead of nds files, does anyone know why this is happening or how I can fix it?
It's fine as a rar file, just download an app that will take it out.
Sorry I must be stupid or something, but I swear I downloaded the file, unzipped it, but the file that came out was a .exe and from there I got stuck. I tried clicking on it to open it so I could follow the next steps but no program with a leaf appeared or anything.

xuehua. u are right. i comes out as an .exe file. follow your next step on what to do. by Raqueldms on oct 24th. u have to unzip then u can see the leaf icon. then double click on that leaf. then choose the left one.

Today, I downloaded the downloadable set of clothes, but you can only put them on your own character, not sell them in your store... :( Aw well, at lease I look good myself! :D

but that's the problem...i unzipped it so now there's an .exe file, but I can't find that leaf icon. I have a macbook...so when I try to open that .exe file it opens using textedit. so what i see is a small screen filled with strange symbols. but no leaf icon.
even with the leaf icon it does not work on my ds :'(

i'm guessing this game freezes cos unlike the other 'licensed by nintendo' this is an actual nintendo game, so they would be more likely to try and protect it from piracy. so thanks to you coool people for completly and utterly slapping them in the face ;)

I'm ashamed of myself because I'm grown and I actually LOVE this game! This is something I would buy for my little cousin who is like 7. But anyhow, getting passed my shame. I love that you can have your own boutique and stock your store and serve your customers, and you unlock more and more stuff, plus you can change how you look, its really a fun game. It's not something I broadcast to my friends but it is really worth a try. Plus it's free so if you dont like it just get rid of it no problems.

Ok, the patch fixed that first lock-up we had, but now (for me at least) after you go 'hiking', if you return to your store, it black-screens. If you go home and try to save, it locks up.
