  • Chronicles of Mystery Curse of the Ancient Temple is a point&click adventure game that tells the story of Sylvie Leroux, a young French archeologist who one night receives a phone call from her uncle (who is also an archeologist and Sylvie’s mentor) telling her to come to Malta at once with the promise of revealing something quite important found on the site he is working on. What follows is a journey full of mystery and intrigue (hence the title).

    This game is actually the 'casual version' of Chronicles of Mystery: The Scorpio Ritual which came out last year on the PC.

  • I uploaded some screen shots. It an entertaining game if this is the type you like. Not quite up to the level of Professor Layton which has just had all the more work put into it for mass appeal. But this is a good compliment to that, and anyone who really enjoy's Layton type games won't play this without getting something out of it..

    Story add something to it.. As I said, graphics are good.. Puzzles are good. Some can be a little frustrating but if they were all a breeze it would get boring, overall I give it a 7/10.. I don't mind these games so I rated it on how well it works in that respect.. To others it may just be a bit boring if your not into this sort of game..

  • I have been playing this game for a short time now and so far the game is not too bad although the minigames are really too easy. It is much more of a "hidden object game" than a "point and click adventure game". And like I said, it's quite ok. But seriously.. haven't we got enough hidden object games already?

  • Have you ever played "Professor Layton" or "Millionheir case" for DS?
    Well, this is kind of the same, but a cheap copy of these games, it not fun, its very easy and the story is for 6 year old, so... the review goes like this:

    Graphics: 3/5
    Sounds: 2/5 (The sound is really annoying)
    Gameplay: 3/5 (For the style of the game, the gameplay is simple)
    Overall: 2/5

  • Good hidden object game up to a point! Using the M3 Real I get to the Professor's Villa, tip sand on the letter then it freezes where I have to blow the sand off, screen sticks on 'touch to start' screen ... bummer! I've downloaded the latest firmware and it still does it.

  • Great game. I love 'find the item' games.
    Much the same as "Hidden Objects" "Forgotten Ruins" and "Mystery Case Files".
    Loved them? Then you'll love this.

  • Well, it's not exactly a point n' click adventure but more of a "hidden objects" game with some point n' click adventure elements.
    All in all, it is a nice game with nice music, 2D and static graphics.
    I 'd recommend it for some hours of joy.

  • It's a nice game. but mine hangs at the scene where you need to use a sniper to cut the grass (weeds) in the red flower garden.

    if you play all levels you have to play some mini-games over and over again. BORING!!! There's no link to the story. Prof. Layton is way better
