  • It's really just a DS port of the new spinoff of Rockband with no peripherals.
    It has customizable LEGO equipment (apparently) and shares the same humor style of the entire LEGO game series.
    It is very, very easy, but has better sound quality than the other DS music games (Guitar Hero, Elite Beat Agents).

    I gave it an 8.

    Warner Bros. has finally revealed the first screenshots and information about the mysterious DS version of Lego Rock Band. Unlike its DS Guitar Hero counterparts, Lego Rock Band doesn't make use of any peripherals beyond the standard DS stylus. Instead, it's an experience similar to Rock Band Unplugged on the PSP, also developed by Backbone -- in which players use the buttons to hit notes, switching between instrumental tracks throughout the song. This is wonderful news for those of us who loved Frequency and Amplitude.

    If only it had the feature of downloadable songs like the other RB games. (WiFi, perhaps?)

  • It doesn't support the GH controller . It's like Rockband unplugged . You switch tracks with the L and R buttons and hit the notes with the X , Y , UP and Left buttons . It's a pretty good game . It's funny too , defeneatly a must own for any DS owner .

    in case anybody is wondering, this game runs on the rockband unplugged (psp) engine.
    dont worry if your L and R buttons dont work, you can swithc instruments using the touch screen as well!

  • I just played a bunch myself, it's kinda the same songs over and over again.
    Quite fun, but easy, even on expert I mastered most of the songs with a 98% average.
    Definately worth checking out if you like rhythm games.
    Personally I like Rhythm Heaven the most. EBA is alright, but just doesn't suit my taste.

  • I loved EBA and Rock Band Unplugged currently sits permanently in my UMD drive along with like 40 DLC songs for it on my Memory Stick.

    Plus I've been keeping an eye out on the soundtrack for this so fun fun. I never expected the song to be difficult (the only truly hard song on the GH:DS games was Satch Boogie, but that was obvious...)so I can live with that.

  • It IS working on R4 Ysmenu. Try that one.

    It's a good game, with many songs. The songlist is better than GHDS (my opinion)
    But GHDS plays better, because of the grip. There's no function to use it, and I don't really like that button control.

  • If you have headphones use them, the sound quality of the songs is actually pretty good.

  • Its an ok game.Only thing i dont like is you cant use the guitar grip from the on tour seires.

    Other than that,i recommand downloading it.

  • It's a nice game, great graphics and fun for people who like music games! It can get a little bit chaotic though.

  • Am experience download problems; it stops in the middle of download randomly thinking it is done. So i cannot resume it. I waste 191MB of download cause it failed at the last few megabytes.
