    "Date ni Game" - WTF, makes you think it is a dating game or something
    "Dungeon Maker" - completely blew my theory about Dating Game
    "Girls Type" - That seems to support the Dating game theory, but...

    Anyone with any clarification as to what the **** this game is?

  • This is a Japanese game, and I looked at the box picture.
    The words that are English are really not English, trust me on that.
    Well... Except the part where it says "Dungeon Maker Girls Type"...
    Everything else is really not what you think it is in English. Including the word that looks like the English name "Jane"

  • Idea Factory's "Otomate Forte" brand has done respectably in Japan but the sales numbers can't really be expected to set records. Otome (Girl's Love) games are still targeted at a growing but niche audience. As long as the titles are profitable however, NCS expects a constant trickle of new releases to reach the market regularly.

  • It's actually more like master of the monster lair mixed with ore ga omae wo mamoru.

    You play as a guy,so i don't really think this a dating game.
    well it's targeted to female market alright since the guys are really hot.
    but other than that it's a basic dungeon maker.
    since it's not really an otome game i got bored after playing it 15 minutes.
    the gameplay and menu are the same with master of the monster lair. so i don't think it would be hard to playing with other the quest are in kanji.

    not in full voices, only on the beginning and some event in voices.
    Hyuga the main character(you can rename him),his CV reminded me to CV of Sakata Gintoki from Gintama...I wonder if it's the same person?

  • probably there isn't any "girls type" since you play as a guy...
    but the artwork similar to ore ga omae wo mamoru. just because it has character design like otome game this game can't really called an otome game.
    they marketed this game for female player from the character design not the gameplay, i think.
    to bad though... i was hoping this game like other otome game but with a touch of adv part, like my world my way but better.
    too bad they just make it plain as dungeon maker game.
    i hope there will be "otome part" in this game, but since you playing as a dude, it will be awkward for us girl to play with. but from the gameplay i don't think there any of it,expect the hot guys.

  • Why would people think that if it's otome or for girls it just HAS to be yaoi?

    And girl's love is NOT what otome means!

    I loved ore wa omae wo mamoru, but it wasn't a dating sim in the LEAST. just a mild romance adventure with action rpg.

    i am giving this a try (even though it doesn't have mamo-chan u.u)

    The companies should really start to understand that SPRUNG is one of the WORST games I have EVER played. It's basically a shallow dating game, not a very good storyline either. I hope they come to understand that soon!

    I'd be nice if they translated more games to english, possibly this one? Sounds interesting... I see the key words "Date" , "Dungeon" and "Maker Girls Type"
