  why the box to chose gender and yes/no is blank ? does someone have this problem too ? (sorry for my bad english..)

  I'm having some problems. I'm using the NO$GBA 2.6a DS emu.
  
  - When punching in text (like for your name) the the screen is not aligned, it also seems the screen is cut off a bit at the bottom?
  
  - When the blue and pink bars appear for like boy or girl, yes or no, saving and other options, they are just blank.
  
  - Also when when a cutscene plays, the texture paths, ground etc seem to distort.
  
  Good news is unlike others, I'm able to save.
  
  So, I'd like to know what peoples set up is for those who have none of these problems.

  i was watink thi for months in this game is a simulation of real live like sims just than in a farm you can grow crops raise animal minin fishin have a wife and have kids i love it

  All I can say is this is the best Harvest Moon out for the ds, Although now im torn between Lily-Julia-Witch princess Im gonna really enjoy this game!.
  
  Same file size as IOH, so im guessing not much has changed other then new controls and the Map

  Awesome! The only thing that kept Ioh from being better than DS was the controls... But this is easily the best Handheld Harvest Moon yet.

  Finally! This games is just like Harvest Moon Island. On the exception that now you don't have to make people live on your island as they are already there. Also, there is two extra characters to woo!

  Did they fix the clunky controls from the last DS HM game (Island of Happiness)? I returned it to the store 2 days later for this reason... I hope it isn't the same...
