Christmas Story

Look like a game for kids here's official trailer http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SbZOoRHBygQ
Disney's A Christmas Carol is a point-and-click adventure game based on Charles John Huffam Dickens's novella of the same name. The game has high production values, with lots of voice acting, 2D cut-scenes and it even contains the novella itself ready to be read from the 'extras' section.
The game is a joy to play, with the player having to solve puzzles by interacting with many objects and hot spots via the stylus. Unfortunately, everything turns into a click fest due to the fact that there are also many optional hidden objects that need to be discovered. The only way to find them all is by randomly clinking on the lower screen.
Overall, the game is fun and a treat to look at with its superb 2D background images and animations. It is also one of the fewer NDS games out there to feature such high production levels. I heartily recommend it.
Nice game!
Kids would love it since my sister like it very much.
Point and Click? Didn't see that coming from Disney
it's a amazing game. not just for kids for everyone my mum liked it to.
This'll keep me busy until the New Professor Layton comes out.
wow, I think the graphics are certainly good! good job disney
actuly its a book it was published in the time of our parents thats why they appreciate it! :D
is it in french
Will load once with R4, however once turned off, it will say "Can't read Save File".
I also got a problem with the r4 , has anyone a solution to the problem? It looks like a good game to play. I want to try it.
Is This Good??
wont work r4=[
for R4 users, use DSLazy. But instead of overwriting it with the DSLazy provided arm7.bin overwrite it with arm7.bin of any working nds game.
Works like a charm!
More power romulation! Yeba!
how do you use dslazy and where can i get it from ?
This is quite a good game, got it to work on R4, graphics are superb, hope future games can match this. Once you get used to the search and touch with the stylus it's a breeze. My version is in English and it's very enjoyable.
Regarding this 'ARM7' bin file, tried it and it didn't work. I have used another method and it worked straight away on R4 card, and it's much easier to do than using DSlazy, you get all sorts of sites coming up.
This is one of the better games due to the graphics, some of the best I've seen on the DS, some of the puzzles take a bit of working out but that's the name of the game, don't want to finish it in 30 mins, gives your brain a workout, well, it does for me anyway.
anyone know where to get this arm7.bin or can ggbix explain where they got it from please
"ggbix" How did you get yours to work
yes i have the same problem! can ggbix explain how he got his to work?
Listen to Rinoa28 - replace this game's arm7 file with a KNOWN working game. DSLazy is very easy to use. You 'unpack' the game (like extract it). Then 'unpack/extract' a known working game. Take the arm7 file from the known working game and overwrite it with this game's file. I have this game almost beat. This trick works great!!!! Thank you so much Rinoa28, you are awesome!!
To all who want to know how I got this Rom to work, I have posted a Topic under Support/Technical 'Disneys A Christmas Carol'
Hope you get the same results as I did.
can anyone tell me where to get Dslazy for free?
cant get it to work with dslazy or the way ggbix done it
scottymac85
Are you following the instructions as per the forum thread?
I couldn't get mine to work with DSlazy either but the other one worked straight away.
I take it you are using a rom that does work in order to do the patching??? it then saves christmas carol again as a new file with the patch installed voila'
The only other way would be to upload my working rom but don't know if I can on here.
ggbix
sure am following your thread that you put on the forum but still cant get it working mate
ggbix
