For every one who is asking if you need the collored buttons, you DON´T need them, you can only use the normal buttons like left, up, Xbutton and A.

REVIEW TIME!

Wassup everyone. I'm reviewing what I call the greatest Lego game to come out this year. The game takes the humour and imagination of lego and throws in a big bundle of Guitar Band/Rock Hero style gameplay to the mix. You start off as a small time band and work your way to the top by playing gigs everywhere. There are some really great songs on offer with stuff that everyone will like and/or heard of. You've got some deadly special guests such as Blur, Iggy Pop, David Bowie and (my favourite) Queen. Complete with Freddie. The graphics are alright but you won't see them as you'll be concentrating on the bottom screen too much. There are no peripherals with this (Yay!) so they are played using the face buttons <, ^, X, Y. They work well but when playing a long stream of the same chords it can be hard.

GRAPHICS: 17/20- Good, not great, but good. The way I like it. Not that you'll be seeing them that much.

GAMEPLAY-16/20- Same old Hero formula. Play a song, then a battle, then another song, then a battle, then a...

CONTROLS: 18/20- No peripherals. But playing with the face buttons can lead to some difficulty on strumming several of the same chords.

MUSIC: 20/20- Full marks. Everything from the Jackson 5, to Queen. Great tracks with something everything will enjoy.

PLOT: 13/20- Same old, same old. Start off small, get bigger, then conquer the world. Please, spice it up a little.

TOTAL: 84/20- A true essential. If you can take the rough with the smooth, you might as well wear woolen gloves and wrap your DS in velcro. You'll be playing this for weeks.

The (E) Versions seems to work on my r4i. You don't need Accessoiries...

I can't get U version to run on my TTDS - I get the opening screens (LEGO, HARMONIX and MTV) then NOTHING !!
This was one game that I really hoped would work....
