Heres a patch for Utacchi. Its ONLY the patch. Simply download, copy the folder in the WinZIP file over to your desktop and drop the utacchi rom on the file that says "Drop ROM here". Works fine for me.

Here's what I got from the official site. the name seems to be based on U-Touch. it's a music game.

For standard single player mode, players simply choose their song and jump right into the gameplay. The gameplay involves hitting different notes as they fall down the screen in time with the music (big shocker). Different notes include "Normal" notes, where the player simply taps the note with their stylus as the note reaches the target zone, "Long notes", where the players need to press and hold the stylus when the note reaches the target zone (think DDR freeze arrows or IIDX charge notes), and "Long Scrub notes", where the player must rub the stylus up and down the note when it reaches the target zone.

Other single play modes include Campaign mode, where players can unlock new songs, and Voice/Karaoke modes which involved the player singing the song while they play.

If you and your friends gather up your Nintendo DS together, you can enjoy modes like "Battle Mode", "Ojama Battle Mode", "Unison Mode", and "Session Mode".

Seems like it hangs after being played for more than ten minutes for me, but it's still insanely cute in it's art style and I'm noticing you can buy even more songs in the shop ^^

It's a spin off of Pop'n Music. Kind of wish they'd make a DS version of that series like they did with the three GBC versions.

It's kinda like a mix of Stepmania and Guitar Hero if you really wanna know.
I recomend it.

Anyone know if an english one is coming out?
Or if there are english patches coming?
I would love to be able to read the actual song names :D

Utacchi is made by Konami and is a new music series in the vein of beatmania IIDX and Pop'n'Music for Nintendo DS. It will include both licensed j-pop songs (many from their new jubeat arcade game) and original Konami songs (many from beatmania IIDX and P'n'M).

Fun songs, tutorial is okay, still getting used to the playing style though.
Overall, a good way to kill time and enjoy yourself.

Has the game been patched yet? It seems to stop responding to touch screen (the only way the game can be navigated) after 10-15 minutes. Which kills doing anything productive for it (unlocking songs or what not)
