  • A great game
    its got 8 worlds grass world, desert world, water world, big and small world, above the clouds world, ice world, pipes world, fire world plus a secret warp area. it as loads of items like power flower, Magic leaf, Mushroom, P-Wing The Magic Whistle, Hammer Music Box
    the best thing i like about this game is the music and the fact that when you complete the game and start again you get loads of P-Wings in you inventory
    i give this game a 9/10

  • Despite what other people say, I enjoy SM3 more than SM1. A SM2 was a piece of crud (Doki Doki Panic rip off, and annoying gameplay). But this game is very big, and the "dungeon" or "castle" levels are my favorite. Also creative use of all sorts of blocks like the music block is awesome, and the level design is good.

  • I love this game, I first played this at the Nintendo Power Fest in '91 before it was released.

  • My mistake i played it in '88 I played Mario World in '91

  • Why NOT get this game? It's a classic, when Mario was still awesome. And less than 1 MB download! Gotta love NES!

  • It's not for NDS it's for NES, Nintendo Entertainment System. However, you can download NES emulators for DS (search for "nesDS" on Google) to play this game.

    If you want to know which file to extract, use the one that ends with "[!]". That's the official game - the others are hacks.
