I think this would be a good game to get, given that you either: 1. Lost your original CD and couldn't find a place that sells Myst 2. Got the Myst Masterpiece CD and it got stuck in your CD Drive for hours 3. Never owned Myst 4. Have problems with installing it 5. Just wanted it on the go In fact, 3 out of the five is my case, so I think this is a good game to get, despite that when I last tried it the screen was so small I couldn't read the note from Catherine. But that might be different in an actual DS, where the sound and stuff isn't so messed up. I absolutely love Myst games, this is probably a good choice, putting Myst onto the Nintendo DS. They should try that with Riven, too, just because Riven is fricken awesome. But i'm getting off the point. When I last tried this, it was a solid port of the original game, and i'd say it's worth it, even with all the glitches (so far, i'm not sure what the glitches spoken of in earlier comments are, i've never been to any other age than the Myst Island because I used to suck at Myst games and such.) I'd give it a 7/10 though, nothing too high for what it's worth.
I've downloaded this game too and I'm not as happy with it as with the PC-version. I mean, there are small details that have been changed and because of these small details it isn't as awesome as the PC-version. My Recommendation: If you never played the original you can download it with no risk, if you played the original, download at own risk: you gonna miss the original, but for underway it is still fun to play.
Thanks for your comment , Vegas. Im a Myst lover also but im gonna look for other adventures and save meself the 98 points . Cheers
I got given this for Christmas, and thought it would be great, as I loved the original Myst, but my old game no longer works. Having tried this, there are so many glitches, it's unreal. Wondering whether it is the fault of my cartridge, I downloaded it temporarily to see if this had the same problems. I loved Myst, but you'd be better off getting the PC version. Also, you get stuck in Channelwood.
