i use it on my laptop and it works.. when your inside the cave or village , the game is on normal speed but if its outside the world map it is slow
*Falathir I don't think so for what i heard they have only released 4 and 5, and are planing on releasing (no date set yet) 6 so until further notice 1,2,3,7,8 and 9 are a no show in English although the Japanese have released DQ9 so maybe. and I Think DQ4 is the American Version of DQ7 (only guessing here)
Erm.... Wait, which version of Dragon Quest is this again? I'm kinda new to Dragon Quest and I want to complete all Dragon Quest (from 1 - 9). Is it possible on DS?
If it dosent work go on www.codejunkies.com they will tell u
Europe usually have more than just English, such as Dutch, German, French, Spanish etc. whereas the US ROM will have English, French and Spanish. If the translators are feeling generous they will even make it British English so we can enjoy Colour instead of Color.
hmm..actually i was wondering for every europe version of the game and usa version..the europe have english language don't they?so what the point in making europe and usa? by the way, don't forget to download dragon quest monster joker!!!!well,it's very very good game if u're a fan of dragon quest
If you like this game I strongly reommend you to play Dragon Quest Monster joker. I finished it and it was the best game I ever played
It's actually the best game that I've ever played .XD
Save files seem to be compatable across the two versions (but not the Japanese one). I don't know if that necessarily means there are no extra changes, but that'd be my guess.
Nope no difference...
Besides the title and the extra languages, do you guys know if there is going to be any other differences between the EU and NA editions?
This is actually a really GREAT game which is kinda like a miniature version of DQ8 being mash into a portable platform... Graphics are also superb with each palaces, towns, villages and dungeons faithfully recreated in 3D albeit all the characters are still in 2D sprites (which people like me don't really mind since the engrossing gameplay is so damn great)... Alas no other game features a casino with poker and slots (thankfully that bingo slime is gone), bars with drunkard roaming at night and characters sleeping with "ah-pew" snores in a game like this one... Which leads to me thinking how can Square Enix better this game with its future DQ9 (developed by 'Level-5' of Dark Cloud series, DQ8, Rogue Galaxy and Professor Layton series fame)... Only time will tell...
